Unreal - Absolutely amazing time surfing in Porto Had a blast!! If you have never surfed before all the way to easily getting up on 5+ footers, Porto is an amazing place and this is a great at helping all skill levels

Awesome experience, would repeat! - Ricardo was an awesome instructor. He took his time making my nephew (who doesn't speak Portuguese) feel comfortable and at ease. I really appreciate that he went the extra mile to make this an unforgettable and amazing experience. Thank you!

Great for beginners! - Our instructor, Ivan, taught us—two people who have never surfed before—how to catch a wave and ride it to shore. Now we’re hooked on the sport and can’t wait to try again! This was a last minute activity that we booked while in Porto and only had a Saturday to squeeze it in: It would have been better on a weekday when there are fewer people surfing.

Daniel is amazing surf coach - We had our first ever surf lesson with Daniel. As we have never surfed before we picked a private lesson for 2 person. Daniel was an amazing and funny teacher with positive vibes. We were catching waves in no time.

Nice experience and very friendly coaches - My best surf lesson ever! We booked a surf lesson in a group and we got split up in two teams. The ones who never surfed before and the ones who surfed twice or several times. In the following are my positive impressions: - The surf are very friendly and motivated. - The value for money is super fair: 25€ included a surf board, wetsuit, warmup and 1 1/2 hour surfing in the sea (getting ready and carrying the surf boards to the sea are not part of the 1 1/2 hours!) - The coaches especially took care of the beginners and helped them to catch good waves and gave great assistance. They were very patient. - Although we were all very free and the advanced surfers could surf in the green waves as well. - Furthermore our coach paddled out to consistently watch out for good waves to catch them. - Our second surf lesson got cancelled. The surf coach refunded the money directly, which is also very uncomplicated reliable. All in all I can definitely recommend this surf school!

Great surf school and very professional instructors - Me and my friends took a surf lesson and we had a great experience. We are all beginners and got a really good introduction to surfing. Our instructor Ricardo was very kind and gave us great tips when we were in the water. We all felt really safe and had a lot of fun!

Big recommendations for the school and the teacher - The team of the Fish Surf School is very friendly, they provide you with good equipment. They deal responsible with the Corona Situation, they take your temperature, disinfect the board and the wet suits as well.  After a short walk to the beach you can really enjoy the waves at the beach. Our surf teacher was João Cunha. He is a professional fitness instructor that teaches you everything that is necessary.  We really enjoyed that lesson, he made us stand on the board and surfing to the beach for the first time. Furthermore he is very emphatic and brings you even more fun with his humorous and enjoyable attitude. Big recommendations for the school and the teacher. 

Amazing - Absolutely amazing and fun moment with Gonzalo, who speaks great English and tries to give you all the knowledges he has.

Good first time experience - Great first time surfing experience. The instructor was patient and very energetic. Always encouraging, which was great. A few things to note: This is a surfing school that teaches groups of kids. Your instructor is one of the teachers at the school - so your private lesson is along side a group of kids. The school was a bit hard to find, and was a bit of a walk away from the beach. You have to walk with the surfboard from the school to the beach - Not a problem if you're able bodied. The beach is not a private beach - it's a section of the beach which is reserved for the school. If you're lacking in self confidence, and are horrified at how you look in a wet suit don't worry. You're going to be focusing more on not falling off your board - not on the other people around you. But all told, a great first time experience. I don't think I'll become a surfer, but it was great to cross that off my bucket list :-)
