Hobbiton Movie Set - Upon arrival at Hobbiton, visitors will be guided through the scenic 1,250-acre sheep farm, offering breathtaking views of the Kaimai Ranges. A guide will accompany guests through the site, sharing intriguing insights into the creation of the Hobbiton Movie Set.

The Hobbit holes, Green Dragon Inn, the Mill, and other structures were crafted for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. These can be admired, showcasing how this stunning piece of Waikato farmland was transformed into The Shire from Middle-Earth, culminating in a complimentary drink at the Green Dragon Inn. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the interior of one of the Hobbit Holes before concluding the tour.

Te Puia - The Te Puia guided tour includes visits to the Pohutu geyser, Art and Craft Institute, mud pools, Kiwi Conservation Centre, and other captivating sights. Following the tour, a buffet lunch is provided at Te Puia, with options labeled for any dietary needs.

Waiotapu and Taupo Tour

Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland - At Waiotapu, visitors can witness the Lady Knox Geyser. Waiotapu is renowned as one of New Zealand’s most diverse and colorful geothermal parks. Marvel at the numerous boiling hot springs and the vibrant colors surrounding you. This is a self-guided walk through the park.

Taupo - Enjoy sightseeing in Taupo, including the Huka Falls. In Taupo, a driver will guide visitors to the lakefront and other fascinating sights. The driver will tailor the day to suit individual interests, maximizing the stops accordingly. Return to Rotorua after Taupo for drop-off at your accommodation between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

Mitai Maori Village - Experience a cultural evening with a buffet dinner.

Polynesian Spa and Waitomo Caves return to Auckland

Polynesian Spa - Visit the Polynesian Spa in Rotorua. The tour includes Lake Spa admission, which can be used on the evening of Day 2 or the morning of Day 3. A voucher will be provided at the end of the tour on Day 1.

Waitomo Caves - From Rotorua, travel to the Waitomo Caves, renowned for their thousands of glow-worms. Walk into the caves, then take a short boat ride on the underground river, passing beneath a canopy of glittering glow-worms while learning about the caves’ historical and geological significance.

After this, guests will be transported back to Auckland, where the tour concludes.
