The meeting point is at the bus stop near Plaza de Santiago del Teide, where the guide greets participants and outlines the journey. A scenic drive through the mountains takes you to the charming village of Masca, allowing time for exploration before embarking on the hike. The 5 km trail winds down through a stunning volcanic gorge, flanked by towering cliffs and lush greenery. At the trail’s end, a secluded cove awaits beneath the impressive Los Gigantes cliffs. While swimming is not permitted, the view is truly awe-inspiring. The adventure concludes with a boat ride offering unique perspectives, followed by a transfer back to the starting point.
- Required items: ID or Passport, proper mountain clothing and footwear with good tread on the soles (sports shoes are NOT allowed), 2 liters of water, and picnic food
- Children under 8 are not allowed.
- If the gorge is closed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., bad weather): If the closure occurs before the activity date, we will contact you via WhatsApp and email to offer an alternative date or a full refund. If the closure occurs on the same day, we will offer an alternative hiking route, including return transportation to Los Gigantes and a Canarian food tasting.The duration of the alternative activity may be longer than that of the original activity. No refunds will be issued in this case. If the closure occurs while you are inside the ravine, we will do our best to provide you with the best possible solution.
