Additional Information

Why settle for goggles when you can immerse yourself in nature aboard a completely transparent kayak? Claim your spot for an unrivaled view and experience Santa Rosa Sound from a fresh vantage point through our guided eco-tour. The unique design of our clear kayaks offer an enhanced sight to the mystical underwater world. Keep your eyes peeled for a diverse range of aquatic life! Our path leads us to the seldom frequented spots outside Destin, far from the usual boat traffic giving us abundant chances to observe and appreciate Mother Nature. Dolphins, birds, turtles, crabs, fish, and so many more creatures await us! Our leisurely journey also includes a visit to a deserted spoil island where you can take a refreshing plunge or explore the sandy shores!

  • One adult must attend for every child under 15. Children under 15 cannot paddle without an adult in the kayak with them. Minors are not allowed without an adult present. For those kayaking with children we recommend a moderate level of fitness, as the adult will be doing the majority of the work.
  • While welcome paddlers of all skill levels, kayaking can be a physically demanding activity. Winds, tides and weather can all impact the difficulty of the paddle. Please reach out to us to discuss further if you have questions.
  • During peak season from April- September traffic in the Destin Ft. Walton Beach area can cause major slow downs. Please leave ample time to make it to our launch before the start of the tour. We cannot hold the tour for late arrivals.
  • Water recreation is the highest midday. For those looking for wildlife or a quieter experience we recommend morning and evening tours.

Beautiful, peaceful, unique - Wonderful! It was so amazing to be in the shallow waters of the bay and look down and see fish swimming below you. Our guide was amazing - telling us about the history of the area and about the environment. She was very knowledgeable. We've kayaked in many places, but the clear kayaks certainly made this experience a list topper.

Exploring Destin in clear kayaks. - We had a great time. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The islands we paddled to were beautiful with no one around except for us! We explored the islands and saw tons of wildlife. Awesome tour overall!

Windy and Dangerous - Shortly after we started the wind picked up to 17 mph with 30 mph gusts. Our family was paddling as hard as we could just to avoid getting blown away. It definitely was more work than relaxation. The trip should have definitely been canceled or postponed. Apart from being exhausting, it was a safety issue as well. Getting back to the starting point we had to paddle for dear life to get across the main channel to avoid getting smashed or overturned by speedboats which constantly race through the area. I would definitely check the wind before going out. It was a lot of money to pay for a rigorous workout.
