Great choice! - Mehdi and Mohammed were excellent! Lots of good times with them! Highly recommend this tour! They showed us around Casablanca and gave me some restaurant tips too!

A REAL hammam in Marrakech - If you want to experience a real Hammam, you are in the right place. We booked via WhatsApp, and upon our arrival they gave us a kit with black soap (it's fantastic), shampoo, scrub glove and slippers. The women of the hammam then took us to the different rooms for the treatment. I don't recommend it to people looking for a luxury spa or who have issues with nudity. That said, it was an unforgettable experience and I have never had such smooth skin!

Like in a big family... - It is an authentic experience, the only one you can have in Morocco. It wouldn't make sense to have a Hammam that isn't this; the others are more similar to our SPAs, but here you experience their culture. I didn't know what awaited me, then I let myself be pampered and washed like a child by the splendid ladies who work there. I also had the massage to best end this wonderful experience. One of a kind! Not to mention the owner, with whom I subsequently exchanged emails regarding a problem, which he immediately resolved. Wonderful people!

A rejuvenating, traditional hammam - We didn't book a time at the hammam, because we weren't sure when we would be in the area, but you can just walk in. There is a man at the entrance of the hammam on the street who will walk you through the alley and to the women's hammam entrance in the back. The lady at the counter spoke some English and we paid 170 Dh for the hammam only (no massage). She gave us towels and plastic sandals, and we were able to put all our stuff in a locker (free). She reminded us to only leave on our underwear (which will get wet, so bring an extra pair!) We were led into the first hammam room, where we sat on mats and the attendants scrubbed us down with the black soap and the exfoliating glove. They don't speak a lot of English, but it's easy to figure out when to turn around based on hand gestures. The exfoliation is not gentle, but that's exactly what we wanted after returning from the Sahara tour and feeling gritty. After the exfoliation, they put on a clay mask of some sort, and lead you into a second room to sit and sweat out a bit. Then they will wash your hair, rinse you off, and give you back your towel so you can leave and get dressed again. If you book a massage, it appears you get the massage before the hair-washing. At the end, we were each served a glass of tea before we left. We both felt softer and smoother than we have in a long time and would 100% return! It's also especially cool that this hammam has been functioning since the 1500s!

Advised! - Experience to try at least once in your life. Booked independently via WhatsApp. It is performed in separate rooms for men and women. Very friendly and accommodating staff. If you have difficulty with the language (French) you can easily communicate with gestures. I recommend bringing a change of clothes and a towel for your hair, because shampoo is also included in the hammam treatment. They provide rubber slippers and a towel to dry off at the end of the treatment, exfoliating glove and soaps. For those who wear piercings/earrings, it is better to remove them before starting, because you risk losing them. Overall a fantastic, typically local experience.

Great experience to do with a friend - Traditional experience Alright To do at least once at the start of the holidays so as not to remove all your tan... At the beginning the most timid will be in swimsuits then the water, rubbing, rinsing etc. We end up naked! Skin cleansing is well done. Women and men are in 2 separate buildings

Definitely recommend for the experience! - I'm really glad I read the reviews first just for a heads up- it is definitely an experience but recommend going for an authentic Hamman. The lady at the front desk spoke English but once you are through you rely on hand gestures. You get scrubbed head to toe wearing just undies/swimmer bottoms (And the woman doing your experience also just in Undies). At one point they came off as well so my bottom got scrubbed! This is not a place to go if you are shy or modest. You spend time lying on a mat or the floor so also unsure of hygiene but it's all part of the experience. I have never felt more smooth on my skin- felt amazing after. My partner got offered mint tea which never arrived and I didn't get offered any so some inconsistency with that but otherwise we really enjoyed it. Would go again.

Not a spa but great experience - An interesting experience that is well worth having. Men and women go separately to different baths. It is basic, but clean and you get everything you need. I wore a bikini in but all the locals were wearing nothing. Also got a massage after. It was lovely. However don’t think of it as a spa, it is most certainly an experience worth having and my skin is silky smooth into the bargain.

Mixed experience - The welcome is friendly and contact with women is natural. The experience is interesting. The hammam is a little shabby. Everything is done on the floor on small mats, the cleanliness of which I am a little doubtful about. We also took the half hour massage and the masseuses didn't stop talking to each other the whole time, making this moment much less relaxing than expected.

Poor quality - Really bad quality! That wasn't a massage...no idea what it was, but it wasn't good, it didn't feel good, it didn't do any good either...Never Ever!
