Marrakech- Imlil - Sidi Chamharouch-Toubkal Hut 3207 m
Sur Les Pentes du Toubkal - Day 1: pick up from Hotel in Marrakech at 9:00 AM, we begin our trek. Heading along the Mizane Valley, we first pass the village of Aremd and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. We then continue our journey by crossing the floodplains. Crossing the river we eventually come to the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, which attracts tourists and pilgrims. From here the trail continues to climb steadily, snaking and zigzagging its way up to the snowline and the Toukbal Refuge (3206m), our stop for the night.

Toubkal summit 4167m (13600fit), get a stunning view of the Atlas Mountains, green valleys & Berber villages, meet the Berber guided & muleteers go for this adventure of your life time …. Mount Toubkal 4167m is the highest peak in North Africa, and is a trekking peak involving no climbing. two days involving walking in crampons holding an ice ax for security (Nov to April). The itinerary has been designed for keen walkers, as it is non-technical, but involves some easy scrambling and snow slopes. The views from the summit are amazing across the mountains.

great experience at the Toubkal trek with amazing guide - The nature on the trek is stunning, the sunrise at the peak was the highlight of my Morocco trip. The organisation of the trip was really good, we were well taken care of, had good food and some fun along the way. The group size was small and lovely and our guide Idriss made the entire experience amazing, he was very considerate, helpful and incredibly friendly!

Fantastic outfitter! - This was my third trip with Morrocan Mountain Guides. Lachen was able to arrange all the details with less than a day's notice. The stay in Imlil and the hike were fantastic! The guide and the cook were super friendly and helpful.

Great hike experience - This was quite a challenge. We don't have much experience in hiking mountains, but we managed to reach the summit and return within two days. Our guide, Idris, was an excellent companion throughout the journey, and we shared many memorable moments with him. Since we prefer to travel light, we were delighted to have the option of renting some gear. Lahcen Igdem and his team certainly know their stuff. We highly recommend this experience.

Mount Toubkal experience - This trek was difficult but the views and the experience is amazing! The blue skies and the deep snow made the place look surreal. Getting to the summit was awesome

Amazing hike and great guide. - The ascent to Toubkal Mountain has been one of the best hikes in my life. Lahcen provided useful details before the hike and helped me get part of the gear I needed. My guide, Hamid, could not be better. He had all the attributes a good guide should have: provided information about the route, helped me settled in the base camp, knew how to manage my energy and limitations, and kept my motivation at a high; always providing the information I needed to make sure I will reach the summit. Congratulations and thanks for all the help!

Challenging & Rewarding Expedition - I had booked the 2-Day Mount Toubkal trip online through the website. Everything from the beginning was straightforward. The guide was helpful in elaborating on the questions and the trip expectations. When I was picked up, everything was well organized and the guide, Hamid, was very professional. His many, many years in the Atlas Mountains ensured the trip went perfectly and I was in safe hands.
The Mount Toubkal trip is an experience of effort that rewards the hiker along the way. The landscape is impressive. The culture of the Beber people and the small villages passed along the way to the Basecamp and Summit are fascinating. Age does not matter if you prepare responsibly and understand the difficulty to be expected in summiting this beautiful mountain.

AMAZING Toubkal 2 Days Trip - My friends and I had the experience of our lives in Morocco because of our incredible host and guide!
Lahcen was an amazing host from the beginning helping us with everything!
We arrived late at night without any plan for the next day when we wanted to start the hike to Toubkal! He sorted out by calling a lot of his friends!
We had the best guide that we could have ever asked for! Ibrahim is a truly incredible person and he shared a lot of cultures and stories with us! He made our hike easier and we became friends from the start!
If you have the possibility to go up with him, he is your man! Trust me!

An mountain experience to remember! - An experience to remember! The hike itself is breath taking, the scenery as you travel up the mountains is amazing by itself - made better by Hamid, our guide, and the incredible team who made the experience one of the travel experiences I've done so far.
Hamid went above and beyond expectations and really felt like a tailored the trip to our interests (and fast pace up the mountains). Along the way Hamid also shared his local knowledge of the area, met countless locals and also gave insight into his experiences of climbing in Mt Toubkal and the history of surrounding areas.
Over all both me and my friend were incredibly blown away with our tour, and couldn't recommend the trip enough. I will definitely be back to do more tours with their company again.

Amazing experience summitting Jbel Toubkal - We were a group of 3 together with our guide Lahcen, our cook Hamid and the mule. Always had great meals on the way up and down the mountain. Felt like I was in safe hands throughout the trek. Especially the 2nd day is very exhausting (watch out for altitude sickness on the ascent) but doable if you have a good basic fitness level. Great experience, choukran bezaf!

Toubkal 2 Day Trip - We had an amazing experience with our guide Hamid. He went above and beyond to make the trip really special. He had such great knowledge of the area and made sure we saw all the local hidden gems. The food was great and if you’re missing any equipment you can always hire kit from there local supply for a very reasonable price I really recommend booking though this company, you’re are really well looked after and will come away wishing you had booked for longer.
