After being picked up at your Marrakech hotel, you’ll head to the Palmeraie, a picturesque palm grove on the fringes of the city, for your scenic camel ride experience, be shown to your camel and learn how these hardy desert animals have been used for transport in Morocco for centuries thanks to their ability to travel long distances without water.

After a safety briefing, wear your Nomad dress with the shesh (turban) and climb into the saddle on the back of a camel and relax as you enjoy a ride through the verdant palms, after 30 min ride you will stop to visit a berber house to discover the real life of local people, this is where you can enjoy snack and mint tea with the family, after that you will take your camel again to continue the ride, take your camera out to snap some photos of the beautiful sunset as the sky changes colors through the trees. When your ride is complete, you will travel back to your hotel in Marrakech.

This small-group tour is limited to 7 people to ensure that you have a pleasant experience during the home visit and your camel ride.

Fun experience - We really enjoyed it. The camels were amazing and the full experience was great fun. Would definitely recommend. Great staff and our driver was excellent. The scenery was lovely too!

Multiple great tours - Ismail is a great guide with years of high-end service experience. He was very flexible and helpful. We loved our ATV tour in the desert and camel ride in the Palmeraie. He was also helpful in connecting/setting up a chauffeur in an impromptu manner. Highly recommend!

Good - Isamel, our tour guide provided excellent service. He is very courteous and responsible. The tour was good and even though we had to do the camel ride earlier, before sunset, it was a great experience.

BB - Our guide Ismail was amazing. From the moment we met at pick up at the hotel, he was so kind and friendly, spoke French and English which was very convenient. He gave us so much useful information. It was a very memorable ride. I would recommend Ismail as a guide to everyone. A very lovely man. Great experience.

Fantastic Excursion - Highlight Of Marrakech - The Palm Groves is a mere 10 minute car journey from the city centre of Marrakech. Once at the Palm Groves you are put into traditional clothing to make the journey that more authentic a camel is selected you are off. The team behind this are fantastic and are more than helpful, a smile is ever present on every member of staff - struggling to a get a good photo? Our tour guide took picture for everyone on in our group (Great photos, may I also add). At the half way point of the trek you stop off at a small Berber village where you are served with Moroccan tea and Cookies you then return via a different route back to where you started. The experience is fantastic and I would say it is essential for anybody visiting Marrakech - very reasonably price and amazing staff.
