Marrakech to Merzouga - Private Tour - We organised this private tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Ahmed was really good at communication in the run up to our trip and our driver and guide Mohamed was really friendly and knowledgeable at all times as well as being a very careful driver. I would say that the hotel in the Dades Gorge where we stayed for the first night was basic but everything else was great

Every stop was amazing and Ahmed is so accomodating to anything you want. Highlights are definitely the desert and Todgha Gorge. We would 100% recommend

Amazing Morocco Experience with Ahmed berber - Went on a much-needed vacation to Morocco for some sun ☀️, and it was absolutely worth it! connected with Ahmed, our tour guide from guided dessert morocco , and it turned out to be the best decision of our trip. Ahmed provided a spacious and comfortable car, guiding us throughout our journey with great knowledge and enthusiasm. He made sure we truly experienced Morocco—its sights, flavors, and culture. From breathtaking views to delicious cuisine (yes, he even made us say "couscous" and "tajine" for the perfect pictures!), every moment was memorable. If you're looking for a guide, don't hesitate—choose Ahmed. You can thank me later!

Top notch experience in the Sahara. - Our trip was absolutely amazing. Ahmed did a fabulous job arranging the itinerary and hotels. The camp in the Sahara for two nights was definitely the highlight. Travel, food, activities - all were perfect. And even when things occassionally didn't got quite as planned, Ahmed took everything with grace and a sense of humor.

Highly recommend!! - Just book it! - My 13 year old son and I went on our first trip to Morocco together from the US. We booked a 3 day private tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Sahara with camel tour and all I can say is WOW! It was such an amazing experience, we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable the entire trip. When we were booking we were worried about the length of the drive, but he kept us entertained and taught us all about Morocco. From the plants and trees we see on the road, to the ancient and still used irrigation systems, how argon oil is made, the rose festival and harvesting, the Berber lifestyle and so much more. Yes, the camel and desert part was the highlight, but the entire trip itself was great and really like a true tour of Morocco! We visited Ait Benhaddou and he gave us a personal tour and got a chance to explore the Dades Valley & Canyon with many stops along the way. The hotel and luxury tent experience were both comfortable, clean and great food and entertainment. The places we stopped for lunch had options for traditional Moroccan food. We stopped as much as needed, but not too much to break the drive up. Seriously if you’re considering booking this, just do it! Just be sure to bring a book or something to do in the car. And I’ll just end this by saying again - if you’re considering it, just do it! We felt 100% safe the entire trip

Learning about the real Marocco and the Amazigh culture on top of a great tour - Since a family member organized everything I went into this blind. And it was a blast! At the start of the tour I had mixed feelings about Marocco due to my experience in Marrakesh so far. But our tour guide Ahmed not only showed us the Sahara but also a completely different side of Marocco. While doing multiple stops on the long road, we enjoyed multiple great views while learning about the Amazigh culture. Additionally Ahmed stayed very flexible and open. Some stops were skipped or adjusted based in our preferences. We booked another stay which was also fine. Due to the strong wind we changed our plans, riding the camels later and taking the jeep first. Whenever we stopped at places with tourist traps Ahmed told us upfront and how to avoid it. He also took the time to make a few extra stops and a little detour at the end at the supermarket which we greatly appreciated. And all this was accompanied by the excellent driver Mustafa, making us feel safe even when the weather conditions were bad and the road blocked or narrows. Totally recommend this tour, it was a wonderful experience I wouldn't want to miss.

Best Tour guide ever!! - We went on a three day Sahara excursion with skilled and safe driver Mustafa and Ahmed and our expectations were completely exceeded! They always went out of their way to take great care of us. Ahmed, always with the sweetest and kindest smile on his face, has a beautiful energy. He’s a very pure soul with an outlook on life that moved and inspired us a lot. On this Tour we have not only experienced the breathtaking Sahara (which was a life long dream of my mother), but also the vast beauty of the Atlas Mountains, Amazigh villages, lush green valleys and palm oases as well as the free spirit and mentality of the Amazigh people. Our family liked the tour so much that we ended up booking another day trip with them, because we trust that they will make every tour the best one can have!

Would recommend - The destination was just exceptional. Truly five stars for that experience! However the journey was quite uncomfortable and I would like people to be aware before booking. If you are tall or a broad shouldered person you may find the bus uncomfortable. We were ok but then they kept adding more people and not a lot of space for bags, so be mindful and do not bring a big suitcase. You need to ensure you have lots of cash as well! Tips for everyone, lunch, etc. Luckily our driver found an atm for us because we wouldn’t have enough for the three days. The lunches will cost you about 150 dirhams per person. You will also have to pay for water everywhere. Even where the dinners are included - they tell you a bottle of water is 60 dirhams. The accommodation the first night was fine but our room had a horrible smell of sewerage and that is the reason for losing one star and making this four star review. The luxury tent was lovely and handy to have our own bathroom, but there was no hot water. So take the word ‘luxury’ with a grain of salt - you are in the Sahara! People in the shared bathroom said they had hot showers, but no one in the luxury did. Hasan was our driver and he was the best! Knowing about the journey and the exceptional experience of riding camels through the Sahara - I would recommend and do again!
