Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Marrakech - The 3-day journey from Marrakech to the Merzouga desert begins with a pick-up from the accommodation, heading towards Dades Valley via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains.
Ait Ben Haddou - Traveling from the Tizi n Touchka pass to Ouarzazate, enjoy the picturesque road and stunning landscapes with varied colors en route to Ait Benhaddou. Visit the historic Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.
Dades Gorges - After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate to explore The Atlas Studio & Kasbah Taourirt. In the afternoon, proceed to Dades Valley through the Rose Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel/riad in Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Camel Trek – Desert Camp
Dades Gorges - Enjoy breakfast at the accommodation. Travel through Todra Gorges, renowned for its impressive canyon walls – take time to walk and explore. Pass through the palm-filled Ziz Valley and desert towns like Erfoud.
Merzouga - Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Meet the camel caravan and embark on a sunset camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Reach the desert camp nestled in the heart of the dunes. Delight in dinner, live Berber music, stargazing, and a magical night under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Merzouga Desert - At dawn, the camel tour guide will wake the group to witness the sunrise, then return by camel to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower, the Morocco tour resumes back to Marrakech via a different route through Ouarzazate and Rissani.
Marrakech - Travel through Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob, and Agdz (Daraa Valley), stopping for lunch along the way. Continue the journey to Marrakech via the High Atlas.
