Marrakech - The driver will collect guests from their hotel or riad in Marrakech at 8:30 a.m. to commence a 4-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, heading towards Dades Valley. Marrakech, known as the tourism capital of Morocco, is a popular starting point for unforgettable tours.

Tizi n Tichka - The journey will cross the renowned Tizi- N-Tichka pass, situated 2260 meters above sea level in the High Atlas mountains.

Ouarzazate - Travelers will enjoy the picturesque mountain roads, admiring stunning landscapes with diverse colors, and passing numerous authentic Berber villages en route to Ouarzazate. Here, they will visit Taourirt Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most impressive ksars, and Oscar film studios, followed by lunch.

Dades Gorges - The next destination is the Rose Valley, passing through the expansive Skoura palm grove, a perfect spot to appreciate the scenery and numerous kasbahs in the area. In this valley, damascene roses, including the prized rosewater, are cultivated for cosmetic purposes. The Rose Festival, an important cultural event, is held here annually in May. The journey continues to Dades Valley, where guests will spend the night at a hotel overlooking the valley.

Dades Gorges - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Merzouga Sahara Desert

Tinghir - After breakfast and a shower, the journey to Merzouga Sahara Desert begins. Before departing, a visit to Dades Gorges offers a great opportunity for beautiful photos and views. The drive continues towards Tinghir “Todra Gorges,” where there is free time to explore. The next stop is Tinjdad town for lunch, followed by a journey to Merzouga Desert, the starting point for camel trekking tours. Passing through Erfoud, the Moroccan fossil capital, the group will arrive in Merzouga around 16:00, ready for a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi Merzouga dunes. Upon arrival at the camp “nomad tents,” luggage is left in the tent, and guests can walk in the dunes to watch the stunning sunset and enjoy sandboarding.

Merzouga Desert Experience

Merzouga Desert - Early morning, guests will wake up to witness the Sahara Desert sunrise. Then, they will ride camels back to the hotel where the car is parked. After breakfast, the tour continues to explore the Erg Chebbi dunes, visiting the two oases of Merzouga, the nomadic land, the oasis of Tisrdmine, and stopping at the village of Khamlia (inhabited by people of Malian origin) to enjoy African music.

Finally, guests will return to the hotel. Afterward, they will embark on a camel ride lasting about an hour and a half to reach the Nomadic Berber tents. During the trek, there will be a break in the dunes to watch the sunset, try sandboarding if desired, take photos, and enjoy the scenery.

After sunset, the journey continues to the camp, where guests are welcomed with a glass of mint tea, dinner, a campfire, a music party, and an overnight stay at the Berber camp in Merzouga.

Camel Riding back to Merzouga - Rissani - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Merzouga - Early morning, the “Camel man guide” will wake guests to watch the sunrise from the dunes, then return by camel to the hotel for breakfast and a shower.

Rissani - The tour proceeds to the vast palm grove of Tafilalet through Rissani, where there will be a stop to visit the largest traditional Souk in the region.

Marrakech - The drive continues through Draa Valley, arriving at Ouarzazate for free time and lunch before returning to Marrakech. Arrival is in the evening, with drop-off at the riad or any preferred location, marking the end of the services.
