Upon arrival at a splendid residence, we outline our program:

An informative segment featuring the mint tea ritual with Moroccan sweets and a spice workshop.

A hands-on segment involving the crafting of bread, the creation of a chicken tagine with preserved lemons and olives infused with Taliouine saffron, a showcase of a vegetarian Berber tagine, the assembly of two Moroccan salads - one cooked and one raw - and the making of pancakes drizzled with honey and almonds.

The sampling segment: a meal consisting of the dishes participants have crafted.

Set in a grand domicile in Marrakech, our culinary academy extends an invitation for you to delve into our diverse assortment of courses. They are designed to teach you how to utilize traditional components to concoct a genuine Moroccan repast, adhering to familial cooking customs. Under the supervision of our seasoned professionals, you will engage in creating iconic meals including salads, briouates, tajines, pastillas, couscous, and conventional Sephardic dishes.

Amazing experience - highly recommended - This is the first time my husband and I did a cooking class. Our HĂ´tel recommended Lamai Chef. It was an absolute wonderful experience from start to finish. The chef was amazing as was the hostess. She explained everything in detail. A wonderful afternoon. Highly recommended when visiting Marrakech.

One of the best home cooking experiences - We took a private lesson for me and my wife with Chef Abdullah and his honorable family
From preparing Moroccan atay to preparing couscous, tagines, and all kinds of Moroccan bread
I would like to thank Brother Abdullah for his hospitality and attention to detail, and I also thank his honorable family
It was a wonderful experience that should not be missed for anyone who wants to visit this beautiful country

An amazing experience - not to be missed - What an amazing few hours. Picked up from the hotel (and dropped back) a twenty minute drive through the streets of Marrakesh to the owners home, which is beautiful and very traditional. You are met by an amazing team, prepare many dishes, bread (hobs) , vegetable tagine, chicken tagine, tomato and cucumber salad, aubergine dish (bit like babaganoush - apologies for the spelling) whilst it’s cooking you go upstairs for tea, biscuits and an introduction to spices. Open to all ages, there were some young children on the course who loved it. Highly highly recommend it.

Recommended in Marrakech! - Super fun course! You will learn about many different Moroccan dishes from tagines (vegetarian and chicken) to bread, salads, tea, crepes and more. The service was great and the people were super nice and very funny. If you like cooking, this is definitely recommended!

Awesome group experience - Wonderful experience with our group of 10 from London Ontario Canada. Chef Rashida, translator Asma (who also speaks French and Spanish) were friendly, enthusiastic and patient. Meal we prepared was awesome.

A great day !!! - My wife and I attended a 3 - 4 hour cookery course which was fantastic. We were lucky in that we were the only 2 on the day so we had the teams undivided attention. Everybody was so friendly and we learnt a lot - we learnt to make a vegetable tagline, a chicken tagline, morroccan salad and many other delicious things …. which ultimately resulted in the most fantastic meal. If you are visiting Marrakech …. you must do this !!!

A personalized must in Marrakech - If you like authenticity and getting away from classic group tourism, if you like having sincere contact with the Marrakchis, you have to come here. In a clean setting, in marble, guided by a smiling cook, in addition to competence, after a real tea ceremony, you will prepare your bread, your Moroccan salad, your tagine and your pancakes.
