Best Experience in Ait Ben Haddou - If you are interested in visiting Ait Ben Haddou, I couldn’t recommend Mamo Tours highly enough. I had a very specific itinerary I wanted to follow during our visit which included a cooking tour in Ait Ben Haddou, which seemed to be impossible to find after extensive research. I came across Mamo Tours and although it is a smaller company ran by Mohamed with limited reviews on Tripadvisor, all the reviews were highly rated, and after speaking with Mohamed, I knew he would be a great fit. In addition to the Ait Ben Haddou tours, we hired his company for driver service around Morocco which was reasonably priced and they used a very comfortable and large van. The driver he used was a wonderful driver, and although his English was limited, he was always on time, and had a great attitude. When we arrived to Ait Ben Haddou, our transfer to our unique Airbnb in the kasbah was seemless as he seemed to be very well-connected in this area and knew the Airbnb host I had booked separately. After expressing interest in having live music, he himself, along with 2 other musicians came to play us wonderful traditional berber music after our dinner. The next day, he had organized a great local guide who took us to his mom/ aunt’s house to cook bread in the traditional way as per my request for my 3-year old daughter. The guide (a different Mohamed) was so great with my daughter, and was very knowledgeable on the area and history. After our 1 hour tour of Ait Ben Haddou, we had a feast of couscous, chicken tagine, bread, and fruit. The chicken tagine was the best chicken tagine I have had, even better than 3/4 star Moroccan restaurants I have been to in San Francisco! In an area that is often only spent as a stopover to the Sahara desert, I highly recommend staying the night and experiencing first class service and this unique cultural experience in Ait ben Haddou organized by Mohamed from Mamo Tours. The 2 days here were the highlights of our stay in Morocco. Thank you Mohamed!!

Very interesting. - We had a great time with our Hama guide and driver. beautiful visits, magnificent road (super driver) we took tracks by car, great for discovering nomads, villages, children who come to meet us. camel ride in the dunes of tinfou, very pleasant wa in ait ben hadou and the dades gorges, very beautiful landscape the south is magnificent Excellent and very good Food😋 thanks again to our guide Hama and his team.

Wonderfu people! - They took care of little bit lost group of 9 tourists. They took us under their roof at late nihgt and organised an accommodation, foof and a lot of fun! Full of professionalism and a lot of knowledge. I will definitely come back to them and I will recommend them to everyone who want to get to know Marocco and have a lot of great and funny moments at the same time! :)

The great experience - It was an amazing experience. I love Morocco and its single place, full of story, especially Ait-Ben-Haddou, the city of the famous movie "Gladiator". It's a timeless city in the middle of nowhere. It represents the real Morocco where you can appreciate the culture and the way of life of people. From here I saw the most breathtaking landscape of this land and I had the best tourist guide ever who explained me the whole story of this jewel of Morocco. I really recommend Mamo Travel! The staff is lovely :)
