Wonderful day in the mountains - Wonderful tour. Ismail our guide was really nice and cheerful and gave us some good information on Morocco and trees. He was a good driver and he brought us to great photo spots.
Simo was a great hiking guide he was so patient with us as we took time to take pictures. He also gave us some good information about the valley and what happened during the earthquake. It is nice to see the villages rebuilding after so much devastations.
We have eaten with a bunch of families in Morocco and we never had food as tasty as the meal prepared by Khadija. Her meal was very balanced and flavorful.

Superb course in the Atlas - Great visit, very well organized. Our driver-guide, Mohamed, introduced us to the 5 valleys giving us a lot of exciting information about Berber culture. We particularly enjoyed lunch at the homestay, opposite the Toubkal. A charming family welcomed us to their humble home, rebuilt after the earthquake of 2023. Soup, tajin and couscous were excellent. Several photo stops allowed us to enjoy the splendor of the landscapes. Back around 5:00.

Fantastic Private Tour with Ishmail – A Perfect Day! - We had an amazing day on our private tour with Ishmail. From the moment we set off, he was friendly, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable and funny.
The itinerary was varied and really well-paced. We enjoyed a mix of scenic drives, a beautiful 90-minute hike, and well-chosen stops—including the best riverside coffee. The highlight was definitely the incredible home-cooked lunch—delicious, authentic, and served with warm hospitality.
Ishmail made the whole experience feel special. We never felt rushed and appreciated how smoothly everything was organized. Highly recommend booking this tour—especially if you can go with Ishmail!

Great Day - Great day. Anas our driver/guide was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous without being intrusive. The drive in to the mountains was very interesting and scenic and the first stop for the Berber breakfast was great. Really good experience. The onward trek with a local guide through the Berber villages with the beautiful Atlas Mountains as the backdrop was wonderful. To top it all, the lunch with a local family was outstanding. Very generous and delicious. All in all great day and excellent value for money. Would definitely use them again when we return to Morocco.

Atlas Mountains, BerberCulture and TravelMemories - A Great Day in the Atlas Mountains
We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring the Atlas Mountains, made even better by our fantastic guide, Ishmail. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and so much fun to spend the day with. From start to finish, it was an experience filled with warmth, culture, and stunning scenery.
Our day began at a Berber Women’ Co-Op with a light breakfast of hot bread cooked over a roaring fire, served with honey, homemade Nutella, and a variety of local sauces. While there, we also learned about traditional organic products for the face, body, and hair — and of course, we couldn’t resist picking up a few things to take home.
We continued on, stopping for coffee by the water, where we spotted a young boy tending to his goats — a simple, beautiful moment that really captured the spirit of the region. Soon after, we met our Berber walking guide Simon and set off on a long, peaceful walk through the valley. Along the way, we learned about how the area was affected by the earthquake two years ago and saw how the community has been rebuilding.
One of the highlights of the day was being welcomed into a local Berber family’s home for lunch. We enjoyed a delicious chicken tagine and couscous in a setting that felt both authentic and deeply hospitable.
Returning to Marrakech we passed through the weekly Berber market at Asni.

Great overall experience and nice break from noise of Marrakesh - Anas our driver and guide was excellent. The overall trip was very worthwhile and we enjoyed the Atlas Mountains and lunch at a Berber House.

A wonderful experience to Morocco and its civilised people and culture. - It was a delight to plan our 12 day travel in Morocco with Angela who was so efficient and responsive to our proposed itinerary and every request. The trip was wonderful from start to finish.
We had an excellent guide, Lhoucine and a very good driver, Hassan who negotiated mountain driving with great skill. We travelled from Casblance via Rabat, Volubilis and Fez to the High Atlas mountains where we stayed in an enchanting Kasbah in Ait Bougemiz. The walks though the valley in early Spring with wild flowers and budding apple trees was the highlight of our trip as was our last stop in Essaouira.
It was the best organised tour I have ever experienced and I have spent a large part of my life living in different countries. A big thank you to Angela and the team in Morocco.

Great excurcion - with a great guide! - We were a group of 5. Mohamed, the guide and driver, was very professional, knowledgeable about the history, culture and nature and the Atlas area and the berber people. He was very helpful, with good humor and exelant driver. The breakfast and lunch that was provided was wonderful and so much better than at our hotel! Great photostops! Great hike with a very talented guide Akram. Great shopping oportunity -(local prices). We know now and understand much better the culture and the harsh nature ( the 2023 earthquake). We are very grateful to have experienced this trip. Five stars!

Excellent - Abdullah was very punctual, the vehicle very comfortable and clean. Abdullah led us through the mountains with his sympathetic manner and told us a lot about the peoples. He treated all people with great respect. He was very humorous, friendly and helpful. Even on the drive we always felt very safe. It's a shame we only met Abdullah today. We'd do a lot of tours with him. He's a person you immediately take into your heart. Thank you for the wonderful day.
