don't think twice, Do it! - The Moroccan Pottery Workshop was a delightful journey into the world of traditional craftsmanship. The hands-on experience with clay, guided by skilled artisans, allowed us to create our own unique pieces. The workshop seamlessly blended creativity with cultural immersion, providing insights into the art's rich history. The welcoming atmosphere and the joy of crafting something with my own hands made this experience truly special. A must-try for those seeking a meaningful and artistic encounter with Moroccan culture!

Therapeutic- LOVED - I had such a wonderful, relaxing time. The entire experience was therapeutic and Amal ( the mentor) was smiling with us the entire time. It was even more relaxing not having to worry about transportation- the workshop is not in the center of town so you might not have trouble getting there with a taxi but you wont be able to walk. I selected the transportation option so my driver picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. With regards to the employees of the workshop- so sweet! They were happy to offer their mentorship but also give us the freedom to create. We had plenty of clay but you can always ask for more and create as many pieces as you wanted. We learned several techniques and were given the freedom to do them all or choose among them. The group is nicely sized ( 3 people) so you feel both free and attended to , which enhances how relaxing the experience feels. They even took our photos with our phones ( with our permission but without us having to ask :) because our hands were all clayed up. I could have stayed there all day honestly- LOVED!

A highlight of our time in Marrakech - Our group of 20 took a pottery class with Karimah and her sisters. Karimah is a seriously talented artist, and it was such a treat to learn from her. She’s extremely patient, thorough with her demonstrations, and very supportive when you needed help. Her sisters also helped us make our small masterpieces and served all of us some delicious Moroccan-style tea. They all got the energy in the room flowing with great vibes. It was an excellent way to get our creative juices flowing while learning and supporting women artist.

Great fun - Had a fantastic time here. The ladies were all really friendly and helpful and taught us very quickly the basics of pottery. We then were able to get creative and make whatever we wanted for the rest of the 2 hour session. We were also pleased to see that we were able to keep our pieces and were given a box to take them home in. We were also taught how to use the spinning to wheel. A really fun and authentic feeling experience

I can't recommend this activity enough just go for it - Lovely experience, i would recommend to take the kids there if are in Marrakech, don't get me wrong me and my husband have enjoyed more than the kids i guess. Thank you Lahcen for arranging everything. Karima is the woman taking care of the activity, she was kind and very professional. I can't recommend this activity enough just go for it

Fun event - I definitely recommend getting a cab to this workshop-I’m comfortable in large cities and with public transportation and I got lost. Take a cab! The event itself was lovely and a fun experience-I’ve never thrown pots before and it was interesting to learn about the Moroccan clay and forming pots by hand. I wish I’d known that seven days were needed to fire our creations-you also were given the option to carry them away, but then you can’t ever put liquid in the containers and they’re just for decoration. (It’s entirely likely I missed that information in the description too-I don’t always read the instructions thoroughly. Again, a lovely experience, although I don’t think it was a good value-definitely a splurge activity!
