Great scenery and well organised tour - I loved this two day hike with Ibrahim, across the Azzaden valley. He was kind and attentive, and took us to the best spots for Berber tea and a view of the stunning mountains. Abdellatif was friendly and flexible when helping to organise.

Fitness with a magnificent view - I booked the 3 day trip (but there isn't an option here). The Berber people have been some of the friendliest in Morocco. Abdellatif and his family who had me to stay at their own family home were a pleasant change from the bustle and noise of Marrakech. It is outstanding how people have managed to live and survive on the mountains. It's apparent that people on the mountains are still living with the effects of the earthquake. It is a fantastic health and fitness challenge as well as an experience of a different way of living. Thank you for being so accommodating! If you book, be careful with your choice of footwear as my trainers were a bit slippery (it rained) and make sure you are able to practice hiking on home terf first to build confidence. The mule I was astounded by as she carried Muhammed on her back as well!

Amazing 4 day trekking on the atlas - We had an amazing trekking experience during our 4 day trekking. The trekking was very nicely planned, so that the paths were not steep but not too challenging and the valleys we visited were breathtaking. Every evening we were hosted in a house in Berber villages, were we could sleep inside and enjoy warm meals and tea. Our guide, Abdellatif, did an amazing job in leading us to the trekking and making sure we could enjoy it fully. One word of advice: this is a real trekking, so come equipped (e.g., going end of February we had quite cold temperatures in the night).

Spectacular mountain views, rustic villages, and snowy passes make for a beautiful trek. Guide Ibrahim and cook Hassan make it - My friend and I completed this 4 day trek in late January. Fresh snow covered much of the slopes bringing majesty to these mountains and defining the rugged terrain. Although snow covered some of the trails and high passes, we could still easily get through in good walking shoes with wool socks to keep some warmth. Layering of clothing, toques, scarf and gloves were required for early morning but much could be peeled away as the sun warmed us during the day. Although the gites were cold, blankets were available to keep us warm. For those considering a winter trek, don't let the cold dissuade you as the snow only adds beauty and keeps the mountain serene as the crowds stay away. Our guide, Ibrahim did a great job leading us and entertaining us! Hassan provided delicious meals and snacks! Only issue was too much food!!...but we still seemed to eat it all as it was all delicious. We were lucky to get this team to make this a trek better than expected. I would recommend Imlil Treks Toubkal.
