Bab Mansour Gate - After breakfast, explore the typical markets and the world-famous gardens of Marrakech on foot with your guide. In 2020, Marrakech, a city with a thousand-year history, was recognized twice on the UNESCO World Heritage List (first in 1985 for its medina, and again in 2001 for Djemaa el-Fna Square as intangible heritage), showcasing the vibrant colors of African culture.

Merzouga - Enjoy breakfast at the riad. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a final stroll in Marrakech. Check out by 12:00 and transfer to the airport.

Erfoud - Tinerhir - Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate - Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. The journey starts by crossing the Hamada, a stone desert, leading to the towns of Tinjdad and Tinerhir. Lunch (optional) is in the Todra Gorge, where you have some free time. The gorge’s approximately 300-meter-high vertical rock walls narrow to about 100 meters at the tightest point, creating an impressive sight. Continue via Boumalne, past the Dades Gorge, along the captivating “Road of the 1000 Kasbahs” to Ouarzazate. This modern city, situated on a desert-like plateau at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters, offers a stunning view. Its brown and red houses, walls with white crenellated battlements, a charming main square, and palm-lined pedestrian zone give it a unique appeal. Dinner and overnight stay at the Berbere Palace Hotel. Daily distance: approximately 380 km.

Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - After breakfast, visit the famous Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, a filming location for movies such as “Sodom and Gomorrah,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” and “Gladiator.” The kasbah is a UNESCO-protected site.

Continue your journey to Marrakech via the Tizi ’n-Tichka Pass. In the “Pearl of the Orient,” the full spectrum of oriental life is reflected in its contrasts. Following a structural enhancement in the 80s, the medina now gleams with its original charm. The riads serve as exclusive private residences or elegant guest houses, with small gardens in the inner courtyard resembling palaces from 1001 nights. Lunch will be at the hotel. Then, visit the Saadian tombs and the famous “Djemaa el Fna” jugglers’ square. Be captivated by snake charmers, storytellers, and fortune tellers.
