Cooking Class - The staff was very welcoming snd friendly. The classes were fun and educational. We went to the market to get the ingredients and then cooked some delicious traditional dishes. Recommended.

Highlight of our Marrakech trip! - INCREDIBLE experience with Abdel and the team at Dar Chef! My boyfriend and I were traveling and wanted a cooking class that didn’t take 6 hours…. We found Dar Chef as a lunch spot a few days earlier and saw the cooking class downstairs while we ate. We wrote them spontaneously the night before and asked if we could take their cooking class the next day, they wrote back promptly to confirm. This was a highlight of our entire Marrakech trip, and Abdel is an absolute gem. Funny, sweet, helpful and engaging, we were thrilled to go to the market with him in the morning and pick out the produce we would use to cook our three course meal. He offered helpful insights, offered to share more recipes later, and kept us laughing the whole time. Our food turned out delicious, and we enjoyed every step of the process. Special thanks to Abdel and the family of Dar Chef for this magical experience.

Dar Chef Cooking Class - Chef Abdel was amazing! He not only explained how to cook the items, but took us on an educational shopping excursion to first buy our ingredients. During the lesson, he was engaged and funny, as well as informative. It's a small class, which makes it much more personal and enjoyable. We highly recommend this class and specifically Chef Abdel. Wonderful, educational experience - We had an amazing time learning to cook traditional Moroccan food! We met the family that owns the restaurant, and they kindly welcomed us for a private class for me and my fiancée. The chef was incredible as was our translator and coach, Abdel! We highly recommend this class! The food was delicious, and the best tagline we’ve ever had. They had a vegetarian option, which was great!

An absolute MUST DO in Marrakech - Our cooking class at Dar Chef was amazing. A beautiful experience. Abdel is a great man with an interesting life. I think that is a MUST DO in Marrakech. You will learn about species and how to use them, how to prepare tajine and morroccan tea. It is one of the best ways to discover morrocan culture, gastronomy and spirituality. The attention to detalis is the key.

Great place with no price surprises and kind servers. - We had a great, stress-free lunch. Our server Adi was super gentle and nice. Prices are set and with no surprises. Food was tasty and the place was nice. We would totally recommended it.

AMAZING cooking experience - First, Adi took us to the market to shop for olives, vegetables and the ingredients for mint tea. Chef Loubna taught us how to cook vegetable couscous and briwates. Everything was made from scratch, and we learned many cooking techniques. Adi poured us mint tea and taught us how to do it the same way. We also had Moroccan sweets before lunch which taught us about Moroccan culture. All of the food was beyond delicious! We found DarChef by coincidence during our walk, we’re so happy we took the cooking class. 10/10!

Fun cooking class, best lamb tagline we had - That was a very fun cooking class, we made lamb tagine, starters and bread. Dar Chef staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Typical morocco food - Very good food and better nice waiter (Naji). Typical food and decoration. We enjoyed our dinner a lot.
