Sahara tour :) - An experience of a lifetime, unforgettable and surprising that exceeds all expectations! The places where we stayed are great, the landscapes are breathtaking and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Ali is a friendly driver who drives very well, we always felt safe. Youssef is also a friendly guide, full of good energy and who accompanied us at all times, explaining all the interesting facts about the places and livening up the entire trip! A tour that I will keep in my heart for the rest of my life :)

Sahara trip with Youssef and Ali - The landscapes are incredible, we made many stops at key points and the guide Youssef always gave us as much time as we needed for each tourist spot and it was a lot of fun. It was always a fun trip and we always felt safe with the driver (Ali) too. Staying in the desert was an experience like no other! And the food was the best we've had so far.

An unforgettable experience! - An incredible tour that surprised me in every way! Morocco is a country rich in culture and being able to do this tour was like being immersed in the culture, very welcoming people, I traveled alone and it was the most incredible experience! The tour was excellent with great guides and an incredible group! I never felt alone!

Wonderful reception! - The entire Marrakech trips team is very committed and friendly! We had some setbacks but nothing that negatively influenced the experience as a whole. The road to the desert is long and the guides did everything they could to reassure us. Special thanks to guide Mohammad and driver Ali who we spent most of the time with and were extremely kind!

Morocco 5 days - We bought the trip with Rafa Morocco, me and 2 other friends. The hotels in Marrakech are as expected considering the Lowcost package. The trip to the Sahara is done in a van, which is quite comfortable. On the way there we make several stops and sleep in a hotel to continue our journey the next day. The lunch restaurants on the road have basically the same food in all of them and cost around €12 for the full menu. The journey is very long, the road is full of curves which can cause nausea. When we arrive in the desert we have the option of going by Dromedário or by 4x4 (the quad bike is paid separately). I chose to go by dromedary, as it was very hot and I was exhausted from the very tiring trip, I ended up feeling sick in the middle of the desert. I was very well looked after by one of the guides who was taking us to the camp, who stayed with me and helped me. Our tourleader (Hamid) promptly came to pick me up in the desert and take me by 4x4 to the camp. The camp is very good considering that you are in the middle of the Sahara sands. The rooms are very hot, there is no ventilation. We didn't have the same reception as other groups, I believe the cause was employee exhaustion. When we arrived we found out that the night before they had received a group of 50 people. They were clearly tired, some sleeping on benches… which was very difficult to see. The entire time we were in the desert we saw how exhausted these boys were, they tried everything they could to make us feel good, but it was impossible to hide their tiredness. We learned that they don't have rest days and new groups arrive every day... that must be why they were like that. The return to Marrakech is really terrible, the road is full of curves and it takes 10 hours to travel. Sometimes, if the attractions were divided between return trips, it wouldn't be so heavy and there wouldn't be such a rush to visit. I had an issue in which I was able to verify the lack of support from the company. As soon as I left the hotel to go to the airport, I realized that I had forgotten my glasses at the hotel and asked for help, they never answered me about it, I was ignored and I didn't even receive a “we couldn't find” message, even though I asked several times. The highlight of the trip was our tourleader Hamid! Truly extraordinary.

Very average, Check details before booking - The tour was more than average in my opinion. First of all, we booked the tour in English but were matched with a large Brazilian-Portuguese group. Everything was in Portuguese, the guide did translate what he was saying for us, but it’s quite awkward to spend 3 days with a large group of people where everyone but the two of us speaks a different language. The guide told us most of their clients are Portuguese, so be aware and check details of what you’re booking if you want a different language. It’s also not just about the group, given the above staff eg at the desert camp spoke Portuguese only and we had trouble getting any help in English. Second point is that there was no tour guide as such. There was an organiser present telling us where to go when and what the next stop is. But he told literally nothing about the country, places we were seeing or anything else - so it’s not a guided tour if you’re looking for someone to introduce you to the county and culture, you won’t get it. That said, we saw some really beautiful places on the way and the desert was beautiful. It is quite a tiring trip and drive but the best one if you want to get a glimpse of sandy desert in Morocco.
