Medina - Marrakech is located in the southern part of Morocco. It is a famous old city where nomadic travelers traded their goods for centuries.
Marrakech is rich in tourist attractions; among which it is recommended to visit the following:
Bahia Palace : Built in the late 19th century, this is a brilliant palace with a set of gardens. The palace is unique in its architecture; and it is where to learn about the history of the chamberlain of Sultan Hassan I of Morocco.
Ben Youssef Madrasa : Ben Youssef Madrasa is a historical site to discover the Islamic traditions. It is the location of the Islamic College in Marrakech. Established in the 14th century, it was designed in the earlier Andalusian architecture, with a reflection pool and many rooms.
Saadian tombs : Located next to the Mosque of the Kasbah, in the outskirt of the Marrakech city, the Saadian tombs were built in the 16th century when Sultan Ahmad Al-Mansur ruled over the country during the Golden Age. Remaining hidden for centuries, the tombs were only unveiled in 1917.
