Atlas Mountains Private Day Trip - What an amazing experience! We did a private tour to Atlas Mountains and Agafay. Elhoussain was a superb guide. His knowledge was exceptional and his demeanor was admirable. He graciously took us to his village in imlil and we met with his mother and sister who prepared an incredible tagine lunch and freshly baked bread! We will remember the beautiful views and the friendliness of all the people we met. Highly recommend this tour rather than the group tour which is so generic. Thank you Elhoussain you are the best!!

Amazing tour of Atlas and Agafay! - The absolute best trip!! A must book if you want to experience the Atlas Mountains and ride a camel in the desert. Such an informative tour and wonderful food, tea and fabulous company. 10/10 recommend!!

An amazing family affair - Must do! A family affair that offers guidance, hospitality, home cooked meals and amazing touring. Lahcen was an incredible guide with phrases such as “If you’re happy, I’m happy”, “we started as a group, we’ll end as a group”. A welcoming and accessible experience for most (15-65), would definitely recommend and would love to see a more sportive version of the hike :) Thank you so much for an amazing day outside of the crowded Medina!

Unique Cultural Experience - I would recommend this experience to anyone truly looking to see life first-hand in the mountain communities outside of Marrakesh. I was drawn to this experience for my family of four by the number of positive reviews which did not lead us astray or disappoint. We opted for a private tour to maintain flexibility should we needed to pivot during the day with our 9 &12YO….the itinerary was perfect and did not overwhelm us. Hicham picked us up promptly from our hotel and we set out on our day learning about the Moroccan culture as we drove towards the Atlas Mountains. Lachen was our mountain guide who joined us just outside the city to add color to the travels and help us hike the paths to his childhood village (where he grew up with Elhoussain). What was truly special was to see the family connection between our guides (all cousins) and the passion they had for their mountain community…..everyone we passed on the hike knew Lachen and greeted him with sincere warmth and kindness. Elhoussain opening his family home to us was a special moment and unlike anything one could experience with other tours….he even took care to note my wife’s gluten allergy. The drive to the Agafay desert was a nice way to relax from the hike and end with a leisurely ride on the local Dromedary. By the end of the trip, I wanted to extend a similar invite to my home in the States for our guides given the kindness on display throughout the day. My 9 yo summed up the day by stating this was the best trip of his life….while I have a few more years on him, I would agree that this was unlike any other cultural experience I’ve ever had and appreciate everything Lachen, Hitcham and Elhoussain have put together for visitors in their country.

A great day out - A really great experience. Both og our guides were really nice and friendly and gave us insights into Morrocan life in the mountains. The scenery was spectacular and the trip combined the perfect amount of hiking, eating, driving and camel riding

Perfect excursion for all - In one word, EXCEPTIONAL! for all person looking for a quality excursion I recommend them everything was perfect from the driver to the guide through the different people we met during of our excursion. The driver Saïd is adorable with a big heart, we laughed a lot during the trip, he made us visit an argan cooperative. The welcome was warm and quality, and then he made us discover the Berber souk by giving us explanations throughout the journey. Once we arrived in Imlil, we met our guide Hamid, an exceptional man and very professional. He introduced us to the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains in always giving us explanations of relevant and captivating anecdotes. We have saw waterfalls and beautiful landscapes, and we were lucky enough to be welcomed by Hamid's family to enjoy a simply exquisite meal. The end of our excursion was the desert of agafay with the camel ride it was also perfect.
