Must do event - What an amazing afternoon and evening our guide Aziz was fabulous, great communication for pick up and escorted us to all the events with grace and humour, Abdul our guide for the Quad biking and Camel ride was also fantastic, both activities were great, we had perfect demonstrations and always felt safe, we finished the day with a wonderful meal, accompanied with traditional music from live acts and a spectacular fire eating and acrobatic show, where Aziz was right there waiting to escort us back to Marrakech, I recommend to all as a must do, thank you to both Abdul and Aziz.

Agafay Desert Experience — Highlights with Helpful Travel Tips! - We had a good Agafay Desert experience with some definite highlights and a few areas that could be improved. Our driver, Soufean, truly made the day for us. He was on time, polite, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the evening. When I became very sore and uncomfortable after our quad ride and decided to skip the camel ride, Soufean stayed with me, made sure I was comfortable, had me wait indoors, and even prepared hot Moroccan tea for me. His kindness and thoughtfulness definitely deserves a special mention. The quad experience itself was just okay. Two of us were on one quad. After about an hour it became quite uncomfortable for the back rider. A heads-up from the provider would have been helpful—especially about how muddy and wet the ride could get because of the rain. Our clothes and shoes were covered in a layer of mud and soaking wet. It would have been great if we had been advised in advance to bring a change of clothes. Being wet and muddy made the dining experience less enjoyable. The dinner was good, with a couple of vegetarian options available, along with salad and dessert, which we appreciated. The fire show was enjoyable albeit not the most grand I’ve seen before. Overall, the experience was good, and Soufean’s exceptional care and hospitality offset the discomfort resulting from the quad ride. With a bit more upfront communication about the quad ride conditions and comfort expectations, this could have been an even better experience.

It Was Alright - It's difficult to choose between 2 and 3 stars for this trip. And here's why: The trip started off a bit shaky due to the company being unsure as to what vehicle was going to pick my family and I up from our Riad. But this turned around once we got to our destination. A lot of reviews debate about 20 minutes vs. 1hr camel rides are sufficient; it truly is based on your personal comfort and capability. My wife and I could've gone for an hour, whereas my kids felt like 20 minutes was the perfect amount of time. The quad biking was a ton of fun. Zipping around the desert trail was great, even though I never truly got to go full throttle (and my wife and kids were being bothered a bit by another person that was drifting and kicking up rocks and dust at them, intentionally.) I think a private quad trip would've been better to avoid this. The end of the night dinner was alright. The food was excellent, but the experience could've been better planned as it was just a mad dash to the buffet line, and there was no order or reason to how people were expected to queue. My kids were being shoved around by people who were trying to squeeze their way to the table instead of waiting patiently. The end of night performances were loads of fun with interactive dancing and musicians. The flame performer was fantastic as well.
