Well worth a visit - Although it was long journey, we saw breathtaking views, driving the kitzah pass to get to Ait Ben Haddau. The Atlas mountains were stunning. The resturant we stopped at for lunch was good. Our guide Housim was very good, he was knowable at Ait Ben, its history, the Berber people and there history. If you like film locations this has been the location for Gladiator 1 and 2 and also Games of Thrones. It was a long day out, the mini bus was comfortable but not much legroom. The driver Abdul negotiated the mad traffic of Morocco with aplomb, and stopped a couple of times on the way for toilet breaks. If you like seeing amazing countryside and Unesco site this is the deal for you.

Awsome - we visited several interesting sites like tizi n’tichka, the high atlas, KasbahAït Benhaddou, this beautiful day will be remembered. The Audax agency team are very friendly, and also very professional. We were contacted by the agency two days before the departure date to tell us that their assistant will pick us up from our hostel, which was located in a small alley in the medina, the representative came at the agreed time to guide us to the minvan, our guide SAID WAS very knowledgeable and attentive, we made several photo stops on request, in short a flawless organization… Thank you AUDAX EVENTS

It was good - The view from the top of heritage Ksar Ben Haddou was amazing. Two brothers painted with a strong tea mixture and lots of sugar, and saffron water, then heated over a flame to expose the picture. It smelled like cream caramel, and the pictures are beautiful. The guide we had at the Ksar was very informative, friendly, helpful, and funny. Lunch...what can I say, order what you like, the set lunch had no flavor and was not to my liking. It was a long and very nice day.

Oh well - We watched Aid Ben Haddou, which is pretty cool. Unfortunately, it's relatively crowded there and it's always difficult to find the group you belong to. Afterwards, the guides took all the tourists to a restaurant that was way overpriced and had poor service. You pay 120 Dhs for a meal excluding drinks. We also had to wait over an hour for the food. We were then driven to Ouarzazate, where the driver said we could take a look here. We then walked around the city without a guide, which was pretty boring since mine wasn't given any information.

Try for better options - Tour was overbooked. There was hardly any space to sit. Bus was small with less leg space. Driver was good though.

Disappointed - I did not enjoy this tour. The driver only informed us about toilet breaks, nothing more. Upon reaching Ksar Alt, our guide (Mohamed) seemed rushed and repeatedly mentioned that we had just one hour to visit the town and that we had to follow him. Initially, he stated that the 30 DH fee covered the entrance to the town, but that his guiding services were separate, and we could pay what we wanted (so not as it is described on the website). Unfortunately, he did not allocate sufficient time for us to explore this beautiful UNESCO town and led us through another upper entrance, so we didn't even walk through the city. His priority was taking us to an expensive restaurant (Oasis or something like that) where guides receive a commission for bringing tourists. He didn't ask if people wanted that restaurant or if they preferred to spend time differently. I noticed the restaurant's rating was 3.5 and decided to go to another one with my husband. When I asked the guide how much time we had to come back, he mentioned 40 minutes and tried to dissuade us from choosing another restaurant, stating, "I can only guarantee this restaurant" (unclear what that meant). We went to another restaurant, had a delicious meal for half the price, and returned after 40 minutes. Surprisingly, the group took almost 2 hours to finish their food! We were waiting for them instead of exploring this beautiful town. It seemed that the guides only cared about earning money. The next stop was Quarzazate, where tourists could choose whether to visit Atlas Film Studio or the old town. Again, we were given 40 minutes. But not much to see, as the oldest part is closed for visits.
