Fascinating trip to to the Atlas mountain valleys - Our excellent driver Khalid was helpful and informative on the drive to the Atlas mountain valleys; we particular enjoyed the breakfast stop in a Berber village. Yaseem was our mountain hiking guide and this was an interesting experience seeing the homes of local people and hearing Yaseem’s commentary on day-to-day life in the Atlas. Lunch in a Riad and then back with Kalid to Marrakech, all told a great day.

This tour is well worth the effort - This trip was very enlightening and the mountains are beautiful. The Berber people were very welcoming and happy to show tourists their way of life. They are friendly and accommodating. The waterfall and water channels which carry water to the smallholdings were amazing to see. Homes and restaurants are perched on the steep slopes and there are people selling their wares all along the roads and pathways. We thoroughlyy enjoyed the tour.

Delighted to see the development in this offer - We went with Imlil Tours. Through VIATOURS. Be warned. ! We ended up on trip we had never planned! ( Thank you Viatours!l) I was in touch with them 4 times on long chats as we have our elder Aunt with us who is not very mobile. . I asked for a suitable trip! WiTHOUT camel -trekking . . What did we get?? Thr TOUBKAL. And ......camel trekking!! Apart from that, we had Saiid driving. . Didn't say much but he did the business. Prefer him to be driving than chatting I suppose . He looked after my Aunt with great respect. Thank you for that. I was here some years ago and hated the camel trek for the way the animals appeared to be treated. This time things had improved. Animals looked clean and well cared for. I popped around to the back to see how things looked while a trek was on. . It was well organised and clean and I met a 2 week old (camel that is)! We went to the waterfall with Moustafa. A delightful and charming guy who took great care in informing us about the area and his proud heritage and lifestyle. Aunt remained with the driver and we enjoyed the short trek to the falls. I didn't take my cash with me and if you want to buy a drink when you get there...you'll need some money. Lunch was 120 dirhams. . Enjoyable ( more chicken tagine of course). . Not gourmet but very tasty. Good bread. And great carrots!! What's it with morrocon carrots?? They're amazing! We visited a cooperative which I was dreading as the experience last time felt a little shady. Not so. Superb presentation by well informed and charming young women and no hard sell. We had lots of time to ask questions about everything and Moustafa easily slipped across languages to suit our small group. It was a lovely and memorable trip and my 85 year old Aunt got to see the Atlas Mountains in spite of Viators! Recomennd!! And so pleased to see the development in offerings for visitors. . . Not so Viators. .

Nice day trip in the Atlas mountains - Beautiful rural area in the mountains that is worth to visit. Moustapha was a very attentive guide, making sure that everyone is happy with the tour. Lunch was also super delicious. I recommend this trip if you want to relax and escape the busy city life of Marrakesh for a day.

The trip was very nice.... - The trip was very nice. While the hiking was more around the villages than in nature (hence 4 stars), the tour guide Moustafar was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, caring and kind. He was also the reason why my daughter found the trip one of the best things on our holiday in Morocco.

Didn't turn up, no communication. Waste of time - Tour operator did not turn up. They did not communicate with us in any way. Obviously too late for us to organise something else for the day. Didn't then send any sort of communication or apology for wasting our time. Avoid this company unless you want to waste your time and never leave your hotel.
