Highly Recommended Experience - From start to finish, our day tour was amazing. Our driver picked us up directly from our hotel and was very friendly. We stopped off at a couple of places on the way to Imlil and learnt about the production of argon oil and were provided with some Moroccan tea. Our hiking guide, Lahcen, took us on a trek through the mountains and shared his knowledge about the area. We arrived at Aroumd and were welcomed into Hamid’s home. Hamid and his family were very hospitable and the food was absolutely delicious! I would recommend booking an adventure with Imlil trekking, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely Hike - Great authentic trip. We chose imlil-trekking because it looked like it was more walking/hiking than being taken to all the sights in a bus, and it was just that. Very satisfying going for a long walk in the atlas mountains escaping the business of Marrakech. Hassan the driver and Mohammed our trekking guide were great. It was a real Imlil trip with lunch at Mo's actual home and you know it's authentic when he jumped in the car back with us to go to school for the next day.

Atlas mountain - As we was only in Morocco for 3 days we needed to do this trip in less then 24 hours, we messaged a few companies and everyone said it was not possible. When speaking to these they said yeah no problem! The trip was well organised and we eventually finished it under 11 hours. The team was very friendly and the views was amazing !!

Mount Toubkal - Atlas Mountains Trekking Guide - Wish we could give more than 5 stars! We hiked with Imlil Trekking with Lahcen as our guide in November of 2023. Lahcen was extremely knowledgeable of the area, sharing stories of his village, the local culture, customs and history. A couple of us struggled through the hike and we was so helpful and encouraging. The food provided was so delicious and more than enough for our needs. We loved sitting in the refuge at night, playing games with Lahcen and enjoying our meals. We'd love to come back again, maybe this time doing the Berber village tours before the hike. We will definitely request Lahcen as our guide again.

Definitely make time for this trip! - We spent an amazing day with Imlil Atlas Mountains and got everything in and more. First of all, communications with Hammam were excellent and he and his team made everything super easy from start to finish. The driver, Abraham picked us up at the Riad on foot (You can't drive inside the Medina) for a short walk to the car. The car was huge and comfortable driving for the five of us - all adults. We chose the fairly rigorous route straight uphill through various villages and mountainscape with omar - who grew up and still lives in his village. He greeted everyone from 4 years old to the elderly with hugs and smiles - as if he knew everyone. Along the 3 hour walk he told us stories about the culture, his family, his religion. We arrived at his village - the highest point, where we lounged outside in the sun on cushions and pads, drinking Moroccan mint tea and then eating a delicious Tagine lunch prepared by his mother. We then went down again and bargained with Berber carpet vendors for three beautiful carpets and a quarter of the price in Marrakesh. We got home late around 7:30 - everyone exhausted but content from a full day. Definitely make this trip - there are shorter versions if you don't want to have such a long day or such a rigorous hike.

Amazing, authentic experience - I've just returned from a four day hiking trip and would really recommend this company to anyone considering visiting the Atlas Mountains!! Hamid organised everything for my group of 10 perfectly. The guest house accommodation and berber village route was excellent, and our guide Ibrahim was brilliant at showing us the villages and best views! The team tailored our experience to suit our flight times and maximise walking, and everyone was very friendly and gave a very authentic, relaxed experience. We will definitely be returning to climb Toubkal at some point! :-) Thanks again to Imlil Trekking for such a great, stress-free holiday!!

The best experience you could do if you are in Marrakech - The best tour you could book in Atlas mountains. The tour guide is so polite, friendly and very prepared. We went on a tour of some berber villages and experienced a lunch in a berber family. Thank you for the nice tour 🩵

Beautiful Hike in Imlil, High Atlas Mountains with Imlil Trekking - My family and I went for a 12.5KM day hike with Imlil Trekking company for my birthday in the High Atlas Mountains. The whole experience was streamlined, organized, accommodating, hospitable, and beautiful, from our collection at our Riad, to our arrival in Imlil and hike in the beautiful High Atlas Mountains. Our guide, Lachen, who lives in one of the nearby villages, was extremely knowledgable of the area and the mountains and very kind and conserdiate along our journey. On our hike we had some exceptional panoramic views of the mountains and we got to hear the mid-day prayer from high above the villages, which was extremely special. Additionally, we stopped at a beautiful waterfall to cool down following our hike:) Hamid, the company owner, organized an amazing traditional Berber lunch for us in his home in the village which was very memorable. The whole experience was incredible and I highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to experince Imlil for a day. Currently, given the impact of the earthquake on the country and economy, your support and tourism is needed now more than ever; Imlil is safe, so please I urge travels to not deviate from their plans during this time. My only wish is that I had longer, so if you can maybe consider a multiday hike!

Tailored experience with authentic cuisine - Hamid and team were flawless from the get-go. We really enjoyed the authentic tajine at his home, and it was the best one we had our entire trip! Hamid tailors each experience to the client, so when we wanted to eat some kebabs, he ensured we got some fresh meat from the butcher’s right in front of our eyes. He also makes sure the trek is comfortable for everyone, with plenty of opportunities to rest and take a breather based on ability and confidence. I would highly recommend Hamid as your guide for the Imlil Atlas Mountains tour.
