I will collect you from your riad accommodation in Marrakech, subsequently venturing south to the Moulay Brahim gorges. Roughly 1h30 later, we will reach the village of Asni where we will stop to explore a weekly market (held on Tuesdays and Saturdays).
We will then proceed to Imlil village (1.740m), situated in the high western foothills of the Atlas mountains. Upon arrival, we will bid farewell to our vehicle and relax with a refreshing glass of mint tea. Post tea, we will embark on our hike, travelling south to the Berber village of Aroumd (1.843m), crossing several small hamlets along the way. You’ll behold the majestic Mount Toubkal, the tallest mountain in both Morocco and North Africa. As we walk, I will acquaint you with the Berber lifestyle.
Our journey extends till we reach the village of Ait-Souka where we will break for lunch in a Berber household. Post-lunch, we will head back to Marrakech, estimated to reach by 5:00 PM.
