IMLIL TREKS TOUBKAL - Go to your hotel early in the morning with the guide. Transfer to Imlil, starting point for Toubkal. The luggage is loaded on the mules, and go for the climb to the refuge.
Aremd, a small village of Sidi Chamarouch, and by large curves the trail climbs towards the refuge. Lunch picnic en route, prepared by the local team. Overnight at the Toubkal hut (Neltner hut, 3210 m).
Summit of Toubkal (4167m)
Toubkal - The next day you have to get up very early and have breakfast and then start the ascent climb. We take step by step until we get to the point above the hut where you have a short break. After 3 or 4 hours of walking up, you will reach the summit at 4167m and have a breathtaking view to all the plains of Haouz to the north, the Ifni lake to the south, and an endless horizon towards Ouarzazate and the desert. The descent is made by the same route and, from the refuge, after lunch, return to Imlil. The driver is waiting in the village to return to Marrakech and drop you at your accommodation late afternoon. 9 hours of walking.

Great experience - An excellent tour with guide Ibrahim organised by Abdelatif. We were able to arrange an extra day added on to our tour to visit a Berber village, which I would highly recommend. Excellent food and guiding.

2 day hike Toubkal ⛰️ - We’ve just returned from our amazing 2 day hike up Toubkal mountain, yes it was tough at times but I couldn’t fault our experience . We were picked up from our accommodation in Marrakesh, driven to Imlil, where we stayed in a riad, clean, comfy and good food. After breakfast the next day, we met our guide, Abdul, he was excellent!! his english was good, he chatted to us all through the hike, pointing out places of interest. He paced the walk perfectly, I don’t think all of our group we’d have made it to the summit if he hadn’t set the pace so perfectly on the 2nd day, which started with breakfast at 3.30am!! The views at the summit made the early start so worth while, amazing. I would highly recommend this trip!!!

Breathtaking views, rich culture, and great service - Incredible trip led by Hamid! We highly recommend the multi day trek starting in Imlil with nights in a Berber village and a few different refuges before summiting Toubkal.
Hamid was very knowledgeable and created a route that hit on all of our desires. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the region and we learned a lot from him.
Food was great for all of the meals and service was excellent the entire trip.

Great exerperience! - I had a great experience with Imlil Treks and my guide Mustafa! Communication in advance was through email with Abdellatif, once in Imlil, Mustafa contacted me through WhatsApp giving me the final necessary information. I rented a headlight, walking poles and gloves for two days for about 10 euro's. All the meals during the trip are big, delicious and full of protein, just like I hoped for. The first day of walking to the refuge is straightforward and quite easy going. The refuge is similar to most refuges I have stayed at in Europe, cosy, big rooms but great food. Obviously earplugs are a must. The second day we got up at 3:00, started walking at 3:45 and arrived at the top at 06:15, before sunrise. At this altitude the walk to the top is hard, but completely worth it. After enjoying the sunrise for about half an hours we went back down for breakfast. I arrived back at my hotel at 13:30.

Unique experience - Our guide Saȉd was very well prepared and stayed enthousiastic while joining us for two days to the refuge at 3200m and (in case of my son) all the way to the Toubkal summit. He gave us a lot of information during the hike. This man deserves a big compliment.

Great hiking in the Atlas Mountains - I did a 5 day custom trip starting from Marrakech to ascend Toubkal and several other peaks. It was all very well organized and everything went to plan, with a really nice guide.
Abdellatif was very nice and helpful at all times. 10/10 would recommend.

Great trip to Toubkal - Excellent trip up to the summit of Toubkal. Not a difficult path but the elevation is good and the views are incredible. Our guide was nice, respectful, and kept a good pace. Plan on an extra bit of cost for the stay at the Refuge and food.

Mount Toubkal - gave exceptional customer service, answered my many questions promptly and adjusting as we needed.Toubkal Treks arranged the tour and the tour operator was also great! The two day trek was beautiful, as described, an overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend it. The guide and mule handler/cook were wonderful host. We would use them again! We felt safe, comfortable, and learned a lot. The first day hike was harder than I thought it would be, but not overly difficult. Accommodations in the Berber village were simple. (I forgot a towel, soap, and showershoes, my bad.) We would use Toubkal Treks again and trek in the High Atlas again!
