Highlights
  • Mazel Laksour - Join our cooking class in Marrakesh and enjoy a unique cooking experience. This 3 hours cooking class will not only improve your cooking skills but also will teach you more about Moroccan culinary traditions, culture, and history. After meeting at our meeting point, we will have a short tour of a local market near our house to buy vegetables and all the other ingredients we will need to cook.

Then we go to our house, where we first teach you how to make fresh mint tea and have it together while we get to know each other. Next, we start cooking the dish that takes the most time to cook because we will put it on fire while making other dishes. We will all work together as one team to make different dishes, and this helps you learn more than just one specific dish.

We will normally be making different tagines. It could be with veggies, chicken, beef, or meatballs. We will have a tea break in between. We share recipes after class as a document for the dishes we made and many other dishes. Kids are allowed in our cooking class.

Great tagine and great experience . - I got the recommendation for the cooking course from a friend. She and her friend were thrilled with Samira end rabiaa The reports didn't promise too much. Through the cooking class we were able to immerse ourselves in Moroccan cuisine, shop at the market and eat delicious food. The manner of the two women in particular was so authentic and easy-going. Great tagine and great experience. Thanks again for the bar recommendation at the end!

Experience that I absolutely recommend. - Embarking on the Marrakech cooking class was a culinary odyssey like no other. Our trip began with a spirited tour of the bustling Medina market, where we selected the freshest ingredients under the expert guidance of Jmiaa and Iman. Their warm hospitality set the tone for the day as we immersed ourselves in the art of preparing Moroccan tea. The multi-course cooking session was an eye-opener, as we learned the intricacies of traditional dishes, infused with rich spices and aromatic flavors. The chefs' passion for their culture and cuisine shines through every step, making the experience not only educational but truly immersive. Finally, we gathered around the table in their charming Moroccan house, nestled in the heart of the Medina, to savor the fruit of our labor. Their genuine care and attention to detail made everyone feel like family. It is without a doubt an experience that I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a deeper connection with Moroccan culture.

Highly recommended - Absolutely loved it, especially given that the family was so lovely. We cooked outside on the rooftop and made the tastiest Moroccan food I’ve ever had - honestly it was better than what we got in restaurants. Thank you so much for having us!! Wish you all the best .

An absolutely recommended experience - Everything is very well organized. Lyla is attentive, kind and very prepared. shopping at the market is fun. The group collaborated in the preparation of the dishes with great availability and we met friendly people open to dialogue and the recipes were very interesting due to the richness of the spices and little-known ingredients. In the end the lunch was rich and the chicken tajin was fantastic.

Definitely a highlight of our trip! - We had a wonderful afternoon and learned an incredible amount about Moroccan cuisine. The tagine was very tasty - as vegetarians we made a tagine with vegetables, the starter and dessert were vegetarian anyway. We would definitely recommend the cooking course .

Loved it! 10/10 would recommend . - I would recommend everyone to do this cooking class while in Marrakech. The family made it a very personal and authentic experience, and you can take the recipes home. The hosts were so kind and hospitable and answered all our questions about the recipes, the food, the spices and traditional cooking. Especially as a vegetarian I felt so appreciated, we made a separate berber tagine and all the salads were vegetarian so i had no problem eating them.
