Rabat - As the capital of Morocco, Rabat is situated along the Atlantic Ocean, opposite its sister city, Salé. Celebrated for its rich history and cultural significance, Rabat offers a blend of modern and historical architecture. Start the tour with:
- Hassan Tower: This iconic minaret, part of an unfinished 12th-century mosque, symbolizes the city.
- Mausoleum of Mohammed V: A magnificent structure housing the tombs of the Moroccan king and his two sons, showcasing intricate architecture.
- Kasbah des Oudayas: A historic fortress featuring narrow streets, beautiful gardens, and views of the Atlantic.

Asilah - Asilah is a charming coastal town in northern Morocco, celebrated for its delightful medina, stunning beaches, and vibrant art scene. You can explore the medina independently, and we will pause for lunch.
Tangier - Visit the American Legation Museum, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy a half-day tour to the Caves of Hercules. Discover the medina and visit the Kasbah.
Tangier - After an eventful day, the driver will take you to your riad or hotel for the night.
Tangier – Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen - Depart for Chefchaouen, the renowned Blue City nestled in the Rif mountains, a 2-hour drive away. In the afternoon, explore the picturesque medina with its whitewashed buildings, visit Uta el-Hammam Square, and relax at the Ras El Ma Spring. Spend the night in a riad in Chefchaouen.
Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes - Fez
Volubilis - Head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a 3-hour drive. Explore the well-preserved ruins and uncover Roman history in North Africa.
Meknes - Continue to Meknes, a UNESCO World Heritage city, just a 30-minute drive away. Visit the renowned Bab Mansour Gate and explore the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.
Fez - After touring Volubilis and Meknes, proceed to Fez and spend the night at the riad.
Fez - Fez
Fez - Fez is one of the most iconic cities. Visit:
- Fes el-Bali (ancient medina): A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fes el-Bali is the oldest part of the city, a maze of winding narrow streets and alleys.
- Al-Qarawiyyin University: The oldest institution.

- Royal Palace: Although not open to the public, admire the beautiful doors and architecture from the outside. The golden gates of the palace are a popular photo spot.
- Borj Nord: For a panoramic view of the city, visit Borj Nord.
- Souks: Fez is renowned for its craftsmanship, including leather goods, ceramics, metals, and textiles. Lively souks offer the chance to purchase authentic Moroccan items, from handwoven carpets to intricate pottery.
Fez - After completing the Fez tour, return to your riad for the night.
Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Errachidia - Arfoud - Merzouga
Ifrane - After breakfast at your riad, depart from Fez for Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in small Berber villages like Ifrane (known as “Little Switzerland”) and Azrou, where you can see Barbary monkeys in the cedar forests.
Midelt - Continue to Midelt for a lunch break.
Merzouga - Journey through the Ziz Valley, passing through Erfoud, known as the city of dates, and finally arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. In Merzouga, embark on a camel ride to your desert camp, where you’ll spend the night under the stars in a traditional Berber tent.
Merzouga - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge
Merzouga - After breakfast, consider a final camel ride or enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. Head to Rissani, a small town famous for its fossil industry. Visit a fossil workshop if interested.
Todgha Gorge - Popular with climbers for its walls reaching up to 400 meters.
Dades Gorges - The Dades Gorges are a stunning canyon located in the Dades Valley of Morocco, known for their spectacular landscapes and unique rock formations.
Dades Gorges - After exploring the Dades Gorge, proceed to your hotel for the night.
Dades Gorges - Kelaa M’gouna - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
El Kelaa M’gouna - After breakfast, begin the final day by leaving the Dades Gorge for Kelaa M’gouna, the city of roses, and stop to visit a rose cooperative.
Ouarzazate - Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit a film studio where many movies are filmed.
Ait Ben Haddou - A collection of earthen buildings surrounded by walls, the ksar is a traditional pre-Saharan habitat type. The houses cluster within its defensive walls reinforced by corner towers. Aït-Ben-Haddou, located in the province of Ouarzazate, is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture.
Tizi n Tichka - Tizi N’Tichka Pass is located in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It is one of the highest road passes in North Africa, reaching an altitude of about 2,260 meters (7,415 feet) above sea level. The pass connects Marrakech to Ouarzazate and is a vital route for travelers to the Sahara Desert. The road through Tizi N’Tichka Pass is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, with spectacular mountain views, winding roads, and stunning vistas of valleys and peaks.
Marrakech - After a memorable 6-day journey, return to Marrakech. Following a long day departing from Dades, the driver will take you to your riad or hotel in Marrakech.
