A True Marrakech Culinary Experience. - This was a super experience with the lovely Yassine, so ably assisted by Mommy. A great way to spend a few hours in a true Marrakech home whilst learning much about the culinary aspects of Morocco. You do not require any culinary skills for this course. It is welcoming and homely and suitable for all. Yassine is so friendly, and cares passionately about his cooking. The “icing on the cake” was sitting down to eat at the end of the class with New found friends. A perfect way to spend time learning and most of all enjoying..Thank you Yassine!

Great moment and experience - It was such a great experience ! I highly recommend it if you are spending some time in Marrakesh and if you like to cook and share good vibes. Best cooking class experience! Like learning to cook with your own family - Yassine and his mother (as well as his family) took us in and made us feel at home. We started off with a short introduction over a wonderful tea and some traditional snacks. We discussed our likes and dislike, allergies and medical considerations (my wife was at the time 3 month pregnant). Based on that Yassine gave us a bunch of options and let us chose what we wanted to cook. They considered my wife's pregnancy and suggested that we make something special for her that would be very beneficial to her and baby. He explained all of the ingredients, how we could tweak the flavours to our own taste. The history of when certain herbs and spices become incorporated into Moroccan cuisine. It was all very fascinating to learn the various influences that make todays Moroccan food. Yassine is very knowledgeable and skilled as a chef and his mother without a doubt taught him very well and loves to cook and feed too. After the meal was cooked, we sat together and eat a wonderful meal until our bellies were full. After dinner we were joined by Yassine's father who is an Imam in a local mosque. We sat for some time, talking, laughing and enjoying one and others company. The whole family were very warm and caring, and showed us nothing but kindness. I make no exaggerations when I say it was like being at home with our own family. My pregnant wife and I booked this cooking experience hoping to cook an authentic meal and eat it, but we got that and so much more. We come to Morocco and had a the usual sightseeing activities booked, but what I realised after spending time talking, cooking, eating with Yassine and his mother, the they and people like them make Morocco the wonderful city we had the pleasure of experiencing first hand. When we were ready to leave, Yassine had a vast collection of herbs and spices for us to chose from at a great bargain! Naturally, we got everything we needed recreate some of the wonderful flavours we had enjoyed that day. I strongly recommend buying some Eucalyptus crystals from him! Yassine's mother was even kind enough to gift my wife with various herbs and spices that could be take throughout and after pregnancy to help with the various symptoms. I would strongly recommended this experience. If your a foodie, this is a must, if you want to try real Moroccan food, this is a must, if you want a true look into the life of real Moroccan people, this is a must. In summary - THIS IS A MUST.

Highly recommend!! - Yassine and his mother are the loveliest people and so welcoming! We learned all about Moroccan culture and cooking techniques, and made the most delicious chicken tajine. You will leave their home feeling grateful and bellies full. I highly recommend this experience! Thank you so much again Yassine and family! :)

Great company and great food - Yassine and his family are great hosts, and Yassine is a fantastic cook. My wife, son and I love cooking and this was a great way to learn about Moroccan cooking and ingredients. It was all very relaxed and his Mum is lovely!

Unique, inviting, amazing - From the moment we booked (last minute) till the moment we left - and after; Yassine was amazing. He helped us with the taxi apps to get there, we were warmly welcomed into his home by the entire family and we cooked the best food we had of our trip. We were in a group of 6, 3 pairs and had great conversation throughout and given great tips about the city. Would recommend to everyone who is visiting! Thank you again ❤️
