Zohra and her daughter Fatim Zahra welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family. They showed us how to make Moroccan bread, multiple fresh salads, and a beautiful chicken tagine. They were patient and made the class so fun—we were laughing, learning, and enjoying every moment. The conversation around the dinner table afterward was just as rich as the food. Pure joy.

Our Moroccan cooking class with Zohra and her daughter Fatim Zahra was truly one of the highlights of our trip - Our Moroccan cooking class with Zohra and her daughter Fatim Zahra was truly one of the highlights of our trip. As a couple, we were welcomed into their beautiful family home with such warmth and hospitality that we immediately felt like part of the family. The experience was much more than just cooking—it was a deep dive into Moroccan culture, traditions, and the heart of the home. We started by learning how to prepare traditional Moroccan bread from scratch, kneading the dough by hand and baking it the way locals do. Then we moved on to a delicious selection of Moroccan salads like zaalouk and taktouka, full of flavor and color. The main dish—a chicken tagine with preserved lemon and olives—was an absolute delight, and we got to cook it step by step with guidance and storytelling from Zohra and Fatim Zahra. They also showed us how to prepare Moroccan mint tea the traditional way, pouring it with elegance and explaining the customs behind it. We sat down together to enjoy the full meal, and it felt more like sharing a meal with old friends than attending a class. Zohra’s experience and kindness, paired with Fatim Zahra’s energy and charm, created an unforgettable experience we’ll always treasure. We highly recommend this class to anyone wanting an authentic, hands-on, and heartfelt Moroccan experience.
