Reached the palm grove gardens after a 30-minute journey from Marrakech city center. Greeted warmly by the family who manage the area. Issued with blue Tuareg outfits and advised on how to approach and even affectionately kiss the young camels without startling them, for stunning photo ops. Took part in a one-hour camel ride as part of a convoy, led through the palm grove gardens by a family member. After the joyride, welcomed back with a hot mint tea, served in a quaint garden among the camel herders.
