Highlights

After pick-up from your hotel or riad, travel to the Palmeraie where you will prepare for your camel ride in the La Palmeraie oasis. Put on a typical traditional dress and scarf like the locals and go for a ride among the palm trees. Enjoy quad biking after a short 20-minute safety briefing.

Along the way, discover traditional Berber villages, see typical houses of the region, and meet some locals to learn more about their way of life, which has remained the same for more than 200 years. Stop for a cup of Moroccan tea and enjoy the silence and serenity before hopping back on your quad bike and continuing your desert ride. Conclude your tour at the base camp and relax on the drive back to your Marrakech hotel.

Nice ride in Palmeraie - In the morning we were picked up by the driver who first got us to the ATV spot then took us on camels and afterward back to the accommodation. The quad ride took full 2 hours (stops not included) and it was fun. Just before the end, we stopped for tea with some bread and honey. Our guide didn't speak much English although he tried, you will have a much better chance for a discussion if you speak French. Once we completed the ride we were offered photos from the quads - it is paid additionally and not the cheapest. Camel ride was cool as well although expect much less adrenaline! It was more like an easy stroll, where you do some loops between palms on the camel. Overall we were satisfied with the experience, we took the photos but once we found they were compressed we had to contact the owner to get better quality ones.
