Best time with Omar in the Atlas Mountains - Absolutely loved my time in Morocco (so much that I’m heading back again this spring)!! The time spent in the Atlas mountains doing some light hiking and amongst nature was really lovely! Was also cool that our guide Omar knew a lot of the locals in the atlas mountains! Highly recommend taking a tour with Omar as he is very knowledgeable on morocco and tries hard to find authentic experiences for you trip in Morocco!

10/10 Tour, 11/10 guide - The Tour was absolutly amazing. The views were stunning and we stopped at the perfect spots for pictures. Our guide Omar told us all about the mountains and what we were seeing, like the little villages build into the mountainsite. He was happy to answer any question and tell us all about his home country. I truely think Omar is what made this Tour so unforgettable and special. It was a great experience, highly recomment! :)

One amazing day - I had been on a tour in Morocco the previous week, then my family joined me in Marrakesh for a long weekend. Omar organised a perfect day for us. We did and saw so much in one day without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We wtravelled from Marrakesh to the Atlas Mountains, had a trek through bush to a waterfall, lunch at a local berber home, time to walk round the local village Imlil and do some shopping, then dinner and a camel ride at sunset in the National Park. Our driver was able to tell us about the countryside as we drove up to the Atlas Mountains The scenery on the way was amazing Our guide in the Atlas Mountains was a competent tramper who had already hiked up one of the peaks at sunrise before meeting us. He was happy to walk at our comparatively slow pace and was extremely knowlwdgable about the history and geography of the area. It was obvious he loved being in the mountains and sharing his enthusiasm for his home. The Chicken Tangine was one of the better one I had in Morocco. The camael ride at sunset was great and located only 45 minutes from Marrakesh, However, if you have the time I would recommend going to the Sahara where the colour of the sand lights at sunset are incredible. Overall an amazing day.
