Hiking Atlas - Great half day hiking trip and a few cascades and valleys, our trip was shorter as we had a few elderly people in the group but the tour was worth the price

Enchanting Trek through Morocco’s Mountains with a Culinary Delight - Yesterday,I embarked on a breathtaking hike in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, an experience that combined the thrill of trekking with the joy of indulging in local cuisine. As we wove through rugged trails and verdant valleys, the landscape around us was a vibrant tapestry of nature’s best work, offering panoramic views that demanded frequent stops for photos and quiet appreciation. The highlight of the trip, surprisingly, was not just the scenic beauty but the local dishes that we enjoyed along the way. In a small village perched at the edge of a cliff, we were treated to a traditional Berber meal that was both rustic and profoundly flavorful. The tagine, slow-cooked to perfection, was rich with spices that filled the air with enticing aromas. It featured tender lamb, prunes, almonds, and a medley of vegetables, each bite a testament to the culinary heritage of the region. Accompanying the tagine was a serving of couscous, fluffy and light, perfectly steamed and mixed with roasted vegetables. For dessert, we relished in a local favorite – Amlou, a delicious, nutty spread made from argan oil, almonds, and honey, served with freshly baked bread. As the sun set behind the mountains, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, we sipped on mint tea, a refreshing end to our meal. This sweet, mint-infused beverage not only refreshed us but seemed to echo the tranquil beauty of our surroundings. This hike was not just a physical challenge but a cultural immersion that delighted all senses, especially taste. The warm hospitality of the locals, combined with the exquisite natural beauty and delectable food, made this Moroccan mountain trek a profoundly memorable escapade.

A great day out - Issmail was a fantastic your guide. He was very informative and super friendly. Mohamed our bus driver was also friendly and we felt safe in his hands. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. The only draw back was that the products in the shop at the womens cooperative were very, very expensive. Issmail did say we're not at liberty to buy the products but we wanted to support the cause. It wasn't until back on the bus we realised how expensive it was with the exchange rate. Just a heads up, the walk to the waterfall could be a bit of a struggle if you're not confident with your footing or find it hard hiking up hill. There were a few places with drops to the side and several make shift rickety bridges. An older man and his daughter in our group sat out half way but they still had a lovely time sat in nature. It's not an overly hard walk but could be for some. Definitely wear trainers or walking boots. Overall the tour was excellent, Issmail and Mohamed were great and we'd definitely recommend!

Fantastic day trip - From start to finish the communication was great and we had a fantastic time on the trip. We were collected from the hotel at the time indicated and included a camel ride; the guys leading the camels were fantastic and took loads of photos – this was the highlight of my friend’s day! We travelled up into the mountain with a couple of stops on the way, including breakfast at a local Berber House followed by a guide to how argon oil was processed. We then continued up into the mountain and hiked up to the waterfall. Our guide Youssef was great, very knowledgeable and helpful. We then went for lunch at a rooftop restaurant; the food and view was fantastic. Overall a brilliant trip and great value for money; I would highly recommend.

Most delicious Tajine, lovely day trip. - We are a family of four. In the morning, our tour guide Lahcen and the driver picked us up on time. The itinerary for the day was very well arranged. We rode camels, climbed mountains to see waterfalls, and learned about argan oil. The tour guide was very responsible and often checked whether everyone was safe and took photos for everyone. Lunch was only 6 euros, and I can guarantee that this was the most delicious Tajine. (Two days later, we joined another group to see Ouzoud, and the lunch was 120Mad, which was super unpalatable) I feel that this group is very cost-effective and highly recommend it to everyone.

A day away from chaotic Marrakech - We had a Great guide- youssef and a Good driver - also youssef and the best day ever. Started with the most fun on the camel ride, a tasty visit to the Argan cooperative, a small hike to the waterfalls with the day ending with a terrific tagline in a village restaurant. Overall a super day out and such good value. Thoroughly recommended

Super trip and well worth doing - Great tour, our guide “Redouan” and driver “Aziz”were great. The mountains are definitely worth seeing as are the waterfalls. The included breakfast on the way up was basic and the location was a little bit salesy. The hike was good and a couple of hours of relatively easy walking seemed to fly by. The ground is quite uneven and its best to wear boots / sturdy shoes its not really suitable for flipflops. The lunch (7 Euro extra) was super. Easily the best Tagine of our trip! I’d expect this to get really busy in peak season. The camel ride was great, at 15minutes long it was a just a taster but thats fine and it helped break up the journey. Take some small denomination notes with you for drinks etc, not ATMs in the mountains and vendors are limited with change. A great trip. takes all day and well worth doing.

Hiking excursion with YOUSSEF - Excellent excursion YOUSSEF K. was great, very kind. A top guide!!! Small downside on the other hand for the restaurant... tiny non-existent starter, good but very light dish and inedible dessert (square of semolina) otherwise the magnificent view In conclusion, I recommend but take a sandwich with you...
