Extraordinary garden... - Extraordinary garden, well worth a visit and a wander. You don't need a guide. It's about 45 minutes drive from Marrakech and works well as a half day trip with lunch at Kasbah Bab Ourika - reviewed separately.

Fantastic garden - worth a visit - For us, Andre Heller's Anima Garden is by far the most worth seeing garden in the Marrakech area. The garden is located about 30 km outside of Marrakech, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The journey is worth it and is free from the bus parking lot at the Koutoubia Mosque, as it is included in the ticket price (14 euros). Advance booking of the transfer is required. The journey is quite unspectacular and leads through desolate landscapes with lots of rubbish along the way. The garden itself is all the more impressive. Andre Heller has created a monument to himself here. Great grounds with lots of surprises and sensational sculptures. For us, two hours flew by and the garden cafe is a great place to linger. For us, it was an all-round successful trip (into an "other" world).

What a memorable morning ✨ - This is an incredible alternative to the Majorelle Garden - you can easily book a free shuttle through Anima’s website (if you chose the first option you’ll likely have to also come back on the first shuttle), wonder around freely with no crowds, see multiple, beauuutiful pieces and a slow pace, taking in the tranquility outside the city walls, and even relax at an amazing rooftop with a cold beverage and breathtaking view of the mountains. What a memorable morning, I’d come back anytime!

Oasis at the Foot of the Atlas - Our day trip to the breathtaking Ourika Valley, recommended by Atlas Eco Travel, was made even more memorable by a visit to Garden Anima. Nestled amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Atlas Mountains, this hidden gem offered a truly enchanting experience. Our guide, provided by Atlas Eco Travel, accompanied us through the garden, enriching our visit with insightful information about the plants and their characteristics. We were captivated by the tranquil atmosphere and lush surroundings. The garden's vibrant flora and fauna, carefully curated sculptures, and serene water features created a sense of serenity and harmony with nature. Our visit to Garden Anima was truly a highlight of our trip, and we are grateful to Atlas Eco Travel for introducing us to this hidden paradise.

Marrakech Holiday - Fantastic place to visit. We used the free shuttle run by the park to get you there from the City Centre used Viator for our tickets. A real gem 2 hrs spent sauntering around the gardens. Plants and Sculptures were amazing and pkenty of seats when needing a rest.

Worth the trip! - Took a van to get there from the Koutoubia Mosque. What a treat. Such an original and beautiful respite. The art installations were unexpected and unique and the gardens, themselves, were beautiful. I almost brought home the sweetest little kitten that I met there! Will return the next time I am in Marrakech!

Definitely worthwhile a visit! - We visited Anima on our way to the Atlas Mountains and were very pleasantly surprised. The place usually is not very crowded but definitely worthwhile a visit. It is a beautifully designed and landscaped garden that features numerous sculptures and art installations. We loved the experience and would definitely go there again.

Unexpectedly brilliant - We went to Anima with modest expectations but it was much, much better than our expectations. The kids had a blast walking through the garden and there were artworks and beautiful plants at every turn, keeping them engaged for nearly two hours. With young kids, we didn’t expect they would be so engaged so it was a very pleasant surprise!

Quirky sculptures hidden throughout the garden - Anima (Petit Musee) Andre Heller Garden. Built by the Austrian artist Andre Heller, the magical Anima is listed as an attraction for a unique look at where nature and art meet. It was a 45 minute ride to the Anima in Ourika Valley by taxi. This garden is kind of out of the way, so lot less people visits. Our walk up admission price was 14 DH. There were many quirky displays hidden throughout the grounds. There was also an one room Petit Musee displaying photos and graphics. Next door was a modest cafe, offering beverages and small bite bakeries.
