So Glad We Had The Experience - Tour group operator and driver were great communicators prior to trip. Our driver Mohamed Buzga was wonderful. He took such good care of my daughter and I. Mohamed was fun and informative and always willing to answer all our questions or fulfill any special requests (he made sure we found fresh camel’s milk to try). The accommodations were a little worn out and we didn’t actually get to stay on the dunes till sunset so that was a little disappointing.

An unreal experience. - Had the absolute pleasure of attending this trip with my partner. Booked through our accommodation in Marrakesh. First day we toured Ait Benhaddou then stayed just outside of Tinghir. Next day we checked the Canyon then finished with the Camel ride. Amazing. Our guide here was especially lovely. And the campsite was awesome too. Our final day, the trip to Fès, was great too. We got lucky with an incredible driver; Moha! He was super energetic, knowledgeable, and prompt. We stopped at the monkey forest and he looked after us all (i had a local try score 100MAD for a couple nuts, Moha set it straight). Couldn’t have asked for a better driver on the last day. Shukran Moha!

Overall amazing! No regrets! - Amazing experience! The beginning of the way was very smooth with our driver the first two days, we felt very confident (unfortunately I don't remember his name 🥲). The air conditioning didn't work on the other hand so we opened the windows. The first two nights were spent first in the Riad Didis at Dades Vallee and second at Hotel Yasmina in Merzouga, close to the dunes. Both were superb and the staff very welcoming. Our guide for the visit to Merzouga was Hassan who knew how to answer all our questions (and we still have a lot 😅) and he was great. The third night was in the tent next to the dunes, we had the visit of some little "friends" but in a tent in the desert, it was to be expected and we were changed tent for a more upscale and airtight to "friends" and our night went well. Our host, Mohamed, was super, very nice and attentive. We took the quad bikes and I must admit we were surprised how much we enjoyed this experience! The view we had from the top of the dunes was breathtaking. Said and Mohmad were really nice and pleasant and the sunrise was an unforgettable moment with a breathtaking scenery. The way to Fes went well too, air conditioned bus with the guide (Mhamed) who was very kind. Really, a ride that I recommend to all, it is worthwhile, especially in 4 days, it allows time to breathe a little. For all the women looking at this review, have no fear, we felt safe (we are 2 women) and the majority of tourists were also women traveling together or even alone.

Phenomenal 4-Day Journey from Marrakech to Fez - Culture, Comfort, and Unforgettable Desert Magic - This 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fez via the Dades Gorges and the Merzouga Desert was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. From start to finish, the experience was exceptionally well curated, and we were lucky to be guided by three outstanding drivers - Mohamed, Dris, and Zaki - who not only got us safely across Morocco but also shared a wealth of cultural insight and personal stories that made the journey truly memorable. Day 1: Mohamed picked us up from our hotel in Marrakech and drove us through the scenic Tizi-n-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we stopped at the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, the city of Ouarzazate, and the Atlas Studios, which turned out to be an unexpectedly fascinating visit. That evening, we stayed at the Dades Xaluca Hotel, where we enjoyed an excellent buffet dinner and breakfast, and relaxed in outstanding 4-star resort-style accommodations - luxurious, comfortable, and a welcome treat after a long travel day. Day 2: Mohamed continued the journey through the stunning Dades Gorges, where we had a chance to walk through a traditional village and take in the dramatic landscapes. In the afternoon, he dropped us off in the Merzouga Desert for the much-anticipated camel ride around the Erg Chebbi dunes. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a breathtaking sunset over the Sahara, soft golden sand, and a fantastic guide who led us all the way to the top of the highest dune—helping us capture some incredible photos along the way. The overnight stay at the Berber camp was another highlight. The tents were extremely comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the whole evening - from dinner to music under the stars - was unforgettable. Day 3: After a restful night, Dris met us at the desert camp with all of our luggage and began the next leg of our journey. He first took us to El Khamlia to experience traditional Saharan music at the local cultural center, then we visited a nearby oasis for a peaceful stroll. That night, we stayed at the Kasbah Hôtel Xaluca Arfoud, another top-notch accommodation with resort-style amenities, great food, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Day 4: Zaki picked us up promptly in the morning for the final drive to Fez. Along the way, we stopped at scenic villages and hilltop kasbahs for photos and fresh air. We had lunch en route and later visited the Cedar Forest, where we encountered a group of macaque monkeys - such a fun and unexpected moment! Zaki was an incredible guide and storyteller, sharing fascinating details about Moroccan history, the different languages spoken, and everyday life in the country. He kept us engaged the entire way to Fez. In short, this tour offered the perfect mix of sightseeing, cultural immersion, and comfort. The coordination was seamless, the landscapes were breathtaking, and the personal touches from Mohamed, Dris, and Zaki made the whole experience feel special. Whether you’re looking to explore Morocco’s natural beauty, connect with its rich traditions, or simply enjoy a comfortable adventure through the desert, this tour delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Great experience - Moha was a great guide and driver. Has taken us to the most beautiful places in the desert and the Atlas mountains. He could tell us a lot about what we saw along the way both in English, French and Spanish. The bus was also more luxurious than I am used to. So absolutely recommended!

Drivers are also important as they travel long distances - I had Moha drive from Merzouga to Marrakech for two days and one night. I also enjoyed the long-distance trip because Moha is cheerful and high tension. There were nine of us: Dutch, Canadian, Argentine, Russian.

Great scenery, top tour! - We had a great trip, especially because our driver and guide Ibrahim organized everything wonderfully. Thanks for that! We couldn't enjoy the desert camp that much because it was raining. The landscapes and the oasis city of Rissani were absolute highlights!

Great experience but double check with the travel agency that the tour correspond to the description from Viator. - I’ll give 5 stars to this tour for the 2 drivers we had Ibrahim and Hassan who were very dedicated to our needs and make us feel like family while traveling through the fantastic desert of Merzouga the high, mid and anti Atlas region.
