Ait Ben Haddou - Ait Ben Haddou is a historic ksar or fortified village along the ancient caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in modern-day Morocco. It is a remarkable example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. It also served as a filming location for the movie Gladiator.
CLA Studios - Following the visit to Kasr Ait Ben Haddou, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Here, visitors will explore Atlas Studios, one of the largest film studios globally, where movies like The Jewel of the Nile, Asterix and Cleopatra, and The Ten Commandments were filmed. Additionally, a visit to Taourirt Kasbah is included.
El Kelaa M’gouna - After Ouarzazate, the drive proceeds to Kalaa M’gouna, also known as the “City of Roses.” A brief stop will be made in the Valley of Roses to visit a rose distillation cooperative before heading to Dades Valley.
Dades Gorges - Dades Valley is a breathtaking natural wonder, captivating visitors with its dramatic landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Stretching from the cold peaks near Ouarzazate to the edge of the Sahara Desert, the valley has been carved by the Dades River over millennia. This stunning region is home to the rugged Dades Gorges, offering some of Morocco’s most spectacular scenery. The first night of the tour will be spent in Dades Valley.
TINGHIR- TODRA GORGE – ARFOUD - MERZOUGA
Tinghir - Tinghir, located in the heart of the Todra Valley between the High Atlas and Jebel Sahro, boasts a magnificent palm grove. The city, once a French garrison, is built around a rock outcrop and dominated by the ruins of the ancient Glaoui palace. A visit to Tinghir is a must to explore its flowered gardens, ksours, and Kasbahs.
Todgha Gorge - Deep within the rocky Atlas Mountains, on a route from Marrakech to the Sahara, lies the dramatic Todra Gorge (locally known as Toudgha Gorge). This natural oasis, created by the River Todra carving through limestone over centuries, features canyon walls reaching over 400 meters in height, surpassing the Empire State Building in New York.
Erfoud - Erfoud is a tranquil town nestled in southern Morocco’s Tafilalet region. It comprises a few main districts, including Hay Salam, Hay el Bathaa, Hay Jdid, and Hay Ziz. This area resembles certain Martian landscapes, making it a site of interest for Mars analogue research. Known for its fossils and minerals, a visit to a fossil workshop is planned before reaching Merzouga.
Merzouga - Merzouga is a small town in the Sahara Desert near the Algerian border, serving as a gateway to Erg Chebbi, a vast expanse of sand dunes. An overnight stay in a camp amidst the dunes is planned, where visitors will enjoy Berber music under the moon and stars.

Ouarzazate - After spending the night in the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, the journey back to Marrakech begins, with a lunch stop in Ouarzazate.
Tizi n Tichka - Following lunch in Ouarzazate, the route continues to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’tichka.
