Always something to new to learn without guide - Managed to get back out to Marrakesh and hooked up with her old friend Mohammed for a tour round the market. Won’t be going back to see him again God willing. Learn something new every time we go a great guide and excellent with our nine-year-old.

Great introduction to Marrakech - Mr Azim was very friendly and talkative. He showed us the market from both sides, the tourist and the local, so the difference between cheap ‘made in China’ stuff and truly handmade artisan items. He answered all of our questions and took us to some workshops as well as a bakery, apothecary and another oven place where we got to try tea whilst listening to a man plan a 3-string instrument. Very interesting tour overall and much recommended.

Wonderful experience - We had a great time in Marrakech last December, thanks to our guide Mr.Azim. He not only showed us the hidden attractions of the city, but also took us to very reliable and fairly priced shops in the Souk. The most applaudable quality of his service was that even after our return, he helped us track and receive a carpet we had shipped from Marrakech but which had mistakenly been sent to a wrong country. We thankfully received the carpet after 2 months, all due to his perseverance and untiring efforts. Thank you Mr.Azim, I'll definitely give your contact to my friends visiting Marrakech.

Marrakech markets - As expected, no different to any other abroad market area really. Lovely trinkets and bits and bobs. Delicious fruit stalls and market shops. Pretty hot but not as busy as I anticipated it might be. The usual haggling and bartering to be done of course. I was a bit apprehensive about going after reading reviews it was just a McDonald's and Starbucks. Over westernised etc. But I didn't see one British shop in the market area, just stalls and sellers. Authentic, some are a little pushy and want to guide you around (for a price) we found being direct and just saying no thank you over ignoring them (no need to be rude after all) worked well and they didn't hassle us much. Worth a trip if you're in the area and want a souvenir.

Crowes Souk MARKET - One of the better Souks that sell tons of rugs, fruit & produce, souvenirs , clothes, and lots of locally made handicraft. Be careful of the pick pockets and always bargain.
