Perfectly organised, lots to do & informative tour guide/driver! - This Sahara tour experience is a must-do for Morocco! It was perfectly organised, jam-packed with things to see, and Said was such a fun and informative guide! We did a 4 day 3 night private tour and was able to see and do so much. Said was the best tour guide - friendly, funny and with lots of history and knowledge to share. If you get Said as a private driver, ask him for his riddles. Highly recommend doing a tour rather than doing it yourself, Morocco is a big place and Said knew the roads and areas in and out which was invaluable! Sahara desert is such a beautiful place 5 stars!!

4 day Marrakech > Sahara tour with Mouad - My girlfriend and I booked a 4-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga on a private tour with Mouad and it was one of our favourite parts of our 12-month trip. I researched a lot for this trip and emailed a few different tour companies. Sahara Desert Tours was incredibly helpful and even suggested a 4-day trip instead of 3-days because it split up a long return drive on the last day (we're glad we did this). They picked us up from our Riad in Marrakech and dropped us back — super easy. Our driver, Mouad, definitely made the trip memorable. He grew up around the Merzourga desert and is clearly incredibly passionate about showing visitors his beautiful country and culture. Mouad was incredibly helpful, friendly and funny. We really enjoyed his company and he made the longer drives much easier. One thing I should note is that we visited in early July so it was insanely hot! Pack a bunch of water. We had a great time overall! Definitely recommend Sahara Tours.
