Superb full day with super chef Michel - We had a great time with Michel! A very complete cooking course. Michel came to pick us up from our riad by car, we went shopping at the market, then we arrived at the farm. We started with a blind test on spices, then we prepared the aperitif, several starters, bread, a superb tagine and even a dessert! Everything was super good, thanks to the chef's instructions. We spent almost the whole day there and it was a great time. Michel is very friendly, we had a good laugh. A superb day. If you want to spend a quiet day learning to cook, eat good food and all while chatting and laughing, go for it! Thanks again Michel!!

Super memorable experience - We had a brilliant time with Michel at his farmhouse cookery school. We loved the experience of buying all the ingredients we were using from a real local market before cooking them. The whole experience is very professional, informative and tasty! Michel's attention to detail and good humour make for a really fun afternoon. We recommend unreservedly

Unforgettable. - A definite highlight of our trip, this all day class on the outskirts of Marrakech was terrific. Just five of us that day (low season) so we got extra attention from Michel, our French-Italian-Moroccan chef. Aside from a transfer mix up in the morning, everything was well organised and relaxed. Michel is fun, cheeky, and generous with his knowledge. Day included a visit at the local market to choose our own fruits and veg and spices, a blind spice smelling test, and cooking tagine, salads, and breads. Best tagine I've had so far was cooked by ME 😂. Tips on identifying real saffron and argan, and sent away with recipes. I won't forget this one. 6 stars.

Tagine cooking at a farm - Michel picked us up from the edge of the Medina and took us first to a local market to pick up some cheap and quality produce for the day. At the farm, he started by doing a blind smell test of the Moroccan spices which is not that easy. Then, we made bread with flour and semolina, cooked a tagine, and three different salads before eating some of it. The facilities were extremely good, it was well run, and the conversation flowed. Definitely one to recommend.

Great day, great value, great fun ! - This was our second time with chef Michel at Faim d’Espices - we loved the experience so much the first time a year ago. This time we did a vege cous cous with salads, bread etc. and of course Michael’s famous spice education and sniffing. It really was as enjoyable as before - and all the more so because another couple were also there on their second visit. That says it all really - a great experience, good fun with much learning, plus you get a super meal at the end of it. Fabulous value! Just do it.

Bliss Outside the City - Michel is amazing! This is truly a must-do when in Marrakesh. Everything is as pictured/described. Michel was very easy to communicate with ahead of the experience and via WhatsApp during the pickup. We went to the market to do the shopping and then to the farmhouse for the cooking. We learned all about the spices and techniques of Moroccan cooking. We cooked bread, chicken tagine, three salads, a salsa, and a crepe dessert. Amazing experience!
