With an early start, we make a stop at a local roadhouse so you can grab a refreshment and a coffee. We stop at the wetlands to observe the native wildlife foraging and bathing in their natural habitat before we arrive at the unmissable site - Ubirr rock. A chance to dig deep into the culture of Kakadu learn about the local rock art and take in the spectacular views on offer here. After filling our bellies with lunch, we’ll move on to a highlight of the tour, the cultural cruise on the East Alligator River which separates Kakadu from Arnhem Land. Learn about local practices and witness traditional spear-throwing. We’ll visit the local information centre before making tracks back to Darwin but not before a stop at a unique historic site showing rice engravings in the local rock.
