- Marmashen - Prepare your appetite for a three-course culinary journey situated along the Akhuryan River’s edge, adjacent to the stunning Marmashen Monastery from the 10th century. Here, we’ll present a sumptuous barbecued feast for you to savor. Select between a succulent local steak or the traditional kyalla [kyah-llah], a specialty of lamb’s or cow’s head meticulously roasted in a sealed, smoky oven, a cherished treat in Shirak Province (exclusively offered in the winter season). Should you opt for the familiar taste of steak, we completely understand. In addition to your entrée, we’ll be grilling up a variety of delectable side dishes. Feel free to participate in the outdoor cooking experience with us, or simply relax with an ice-cold local brew, taking in the scenic vistas and the crisp air - the decision is entirely up to you!
