Highlights
  • Medieval City - Start your day with a pickup from your centrally located Marmaris hotel or meet your air-conditioned vehicle at a pre-arranged location. Then, travel to the port and board your high-speed catamaran to Rhodes, the largest of the Greek Dodecanese islands.

Enjoy the views of the Aegean Sea as you make your 45-minute crossing to Rhodes Town, the island’s charming capital. Conveniently, the ferry port is an easy walk from the walled Rhodes Old Town, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities.

When you arrive, you’re free to do as you wish, with no itineraries tying you down. Do as most visitors do and head straight for the UNESCO-listed Rhodes Old Town, entering through one of the seven gates in its walls. Then, spend the day exploring the cobbled streets and Gothic, Frankish and Ottoman gems of this stunning district founded by the Knights of St John in the 14th century.

Admire the Street of the Knights and visit the Palace of the Grand Masters, Archaeological Museum and Museum of Decorative Arts. Delve into the maze-like alleys to see the gorgeous medieval architecture; shop for Rhodean lace and ceramics, and sample Greek dishes at the tavernas and cafes.

Alternatively, hit the capital’s modern shopping district, laze on its beaches or absorb the views from historic Mandraki Harbour, once the site of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. All entrance fees, meals and drinks are at your own expense.

Return to the port in the late afternoon to catch your catamaran back to Turkey. Then, on arrival in Marmaris enjoy a drop-off back at your hotel.

Rhodes August 2023 - The whole experience of being on the island of Rhodes. Passport control less hectic, more efficient than two previous Greek island tours I’ve been on recently.

amazing day out- two countries in one day - This was an amazing day out for me my fiancée and my friends, we paid £50 at an excursions desk for the day trip which I thought was pretty good considering you are visiting a whole different country. The early pick up is hard but worth it as we had a great day. The ferry port is quite a drawn out experience as it is like a mini airport we were about 20 min wait on the way there but on the way back we waited about 45 mins in the security line as they were going so so slow, we were knackered after the day ended and just wanted back to our hotels. We had about 7 hours in Rhodes, which is way too long to be walking about so we went a walk around the old town before buying bikinis and heading to the beach to relax,. Bear in mind Rhodes is super expensive. We had a Greek gyro which was fab, I would definitely recommend this trip and would probably go again.

Professional service. 5 star company. - Very professional service with our driver picking us up 10 mins early as everyone was ready. The boarding passes were emailed the day before which sped up the checking in process considerably and on our return the driver was again waiting for us. I couldn't rate this company any less than perfection.

Rhodes Day Trip - Great experience. The ports were a busy tiring experience. Otherwise Rhodes is worth the trip. Tour was organised with good contact and pick up.

Good day out - Really good trip to see Rhodes for the day. All the really nice markets and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Be prepared on the ferry to be a little sea sick as it can be a bit choppy. Other then that a really good day out

Lovely trip apart from waiting times. - Rhodes is a lovely place but for nearly a 12 hour trip you only have 4 hours in Rhodes. Majority of the time is waiting to get through passport control. Would recommend the trip only if you don’t mind waiting around.

Don’t do it - No better than booking yourself and taking a taxi. Bus was late and then yelled at us for being outside and in front of our hotel (as per the directions) and not in the street. No info given about tickets or how to check in it even pick up times.
