Scammed us on a different tour and tries to overcharge us! - AVOID AVOID AVOID! We originally booked for the White Tour from Marmaris via WhatsApp. The trip should include salda lake & pamukkale. Trip Ventura was the only company that offers this tour during our time here, we even changed our iteneary and gave up 1 out of the 2 days of our precious stay at 5* hotel because of this tour. Going to Salda Lake was supposed to be the main highlight for this trip, so you get my expectation. In the morning, the pick up was late, and the coach did not pick us from the hotel but the main road near the hotel. The coach was big (standard UK airport coaches size) and I guess it's hard to drive into the narrows road of our hotel. We did not know that this isn't the tour we signed up for until after the tour guide did the briefing on the coach. (We've not paid at the time). We double checked with her and she confirmed the tour we are on only goes to Pamukkale but not Salda Lake! We asked which agency she's with and she's with Havoc, she explains that there are really only 2 travel agencies in Marmaris, all other agencies are really just their franchise in different names. We immediately contacted the person we've been speaking to on WhatsApp, who's not been very responsive and helpful (see pic). We asked the tour guide to call the number they provided and she told us whoever was on the phone knows nothing. Fortunately the tour guide offered to only charge us for the pamukkale entrance fee only for the time being until payment issue has been solved. She told us that only a few tours successfully takes travellers to Salda Lake and Pamukkale on the same trip in a year, due to time and budgeting. We told the agent on WhatsApp that we will not pay for the originally agreed amount €90 and only paid a similar price for it. Look at the time stamp on WhatsApp, they've not been responsive until we mentioned pricing issue. The tour guide on the trip asked if we're going on other tours so we can perhaps spend the extras as credits for their other tours. Of course we will not settle for that. In the end we only paid €60 for 2 (+entrance fee) but our trip has been completely ruined! It was the last day of our stay in Marmaris and we purposely planned our iteneary around this tour and missed out the beaches. We don't have extra time to visit what would have been equal to missing Salda Lake and the agent never apologise nor gave us an explanation! On an extra note, the trip to pamukkale was not good at all. Food was really sh*t!
