Don’t miss this when in Dubai! - This was my favorite thing we did in Dubai. Even in the summer heat it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Wahid who picked us up could not have been kinder and he gave us so much great info the whole way. The way the company laid out the timing of everything was perfect and we have pics and memories to last a lifetime! Shout out to Ebrima our waiter who was the best! Absolutely recommend 10/10. 💯

Amazing experience! - The trip was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end!
The location was great, the food amazing, the shows spectacular!
And it was not too crowded like in these tours with too many people.
Kudos to our driver Zulfiqar, very kind and professional and who gave us so many explanations on Dubai!

Great camel riding experience - We had an excellent experience with the short time we had. Sulfi picked us up from the hotel, drove us one hour while telling us a bit about Dubai, and then we arrived to the desert and had an un unbelievable experience riding camels.

Excellent all around - Excellent experience from start to finish!
DRIVE: About 1 hour from our hotel in Dubai to the Margham Desert Conservation Reserve. Our guide, Stanly, was very professional and friendly. He arrived early at our hotel and had a clean comfortable SUV waiting for us.
CAMPSITE: Spacious, with a tented welcome area where you receive a free ghutra (cotton headdress) that they help wrap around your head for sun protection, as well as plenty of bottled water for hydration.
CAMEL RIDE: About 45 minutes round-trip from the 57 Safari campsite. While the camel guide didn't speak English, he constantly checked throughout the ride to ensure we were okay. The camels also seemed to be affectionate towards him, which was important to us, as a sign that the camels are treated well. Throughout the ride, the camels were very calm and even responded positively (accepting pets & moving their heads closer to us) when we gave them verbal affection. At several points during the ride, the camels did trot, so make sure not to hold any loose items and secure your belongings. If you are not familiar with riding (e.g. horseback), you may experience some soreness the next day.
LAND ROVER DRIVE: About 40 minutes round-trip from the 57 Safari campsite. They have several original 1950's Land Rovers (the first ever desert vehicle introduced there), which you can ride in to tour the reserve and spot wild lizards, oryx, and gazelle. Stanly kindly drove us, and we got some great photos & videos of not only the oryx and gazelle, but also a beautiful wind-patterned sand dune that looked like it was straight out of a movie.
FALCON SHOW: About 15 minutes. Mitch (I think?) the falconer introduced a young peregrine falcon named Blade, and taught us some interesting and funny facts, including: "Blade does not love me, not even a little bit. He loves the food I give him, and that's how falcons are trained." The falcon is the national bird of the UAE, but interestingly enough are not native to the country. Instead, they migrate every year from other regions to places like the UAE for the winter.
TEA & DINNER: The 4-course dinner was good and plentiful, consisting of local Emirati cuisine. The tea was my absolute favorite though -- I definitely got refills. Our server Ibrahim was very kind and helpful. And the quality and speed of dinner service were excellent overall.
MUSICAL PERFORMANCES & FIRE SHOW: A performer played traditional Arabic instruments -- the ney (flute), neyanban (a kind of bagpipe), and oud (like a lute). It was very interesting to see and hear them, though I wish the microphone was amplified more, as the oud in particular was hard to hear. The fire show, which is at the end of the experience, was spectacular. The fire guy utilized different props (ropes, torches, staffs, etc) to great effect, and even did a little demonstration with all the guests afterwards so we could get videos with him.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Mbarak did an amazing job taking professional, high-quality photos of each guest throughout the entire experience. And you have the option of reviewing them at the end of the experience and deciding whether to purchase them or not. We were very happy with ours, and when we bought them, Mbarak provided the photos on a USB inside a nice wooden box, and also sent them via a Google Drive link.Â
TIMING: According to the staff, weekdays are better if you want to avoid crowds. (We went on a Wednesday and because there were only 2 other parties booked on the same day, we got quite a lot of private time and individual attention.)

Unique experience in the desert - From the beginning, the staff were very attentive. Our guide arrived early at the hotel and was ready at our convenience. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Dubai and explained landmarks on our 1.5 hour journey to the desert. The excursion itself included a guided camel ride, cruising around the dunes and observing wildlife, falconry exhibition, musical performances, and food!

THE BEST! - This is a must do if you’re in Dubai!! Splurge for the private transport & you’re in for a great ride through the dunes. When you arrive at the campsite you’re greeted by the wonderful 57 safari team & are given headscarves for the evening which was so fun. We did the camel rides & saw the falcon show- both absolutely incredible. The guy who did the falcon show was super knowledgeable and kept it very funny and light while teaching you a lot about the history of falcons in the UAE. Dinner and the various shows were incredible!! We didn’t want to leave. We will most certainly be back and will recommend all of our friends to do the same.
