Loved this experience! - I traveled with a group of friends to Manuel Antonio, and we spent our day on this ocean kayaking and snorkeling tour. I thought this excursion was by far one of my favorite activities I’ve done in Costa Rica so far thanks to Josué, who kept the trip interesting and comedic with his punch lines. I was impressed by his professionalism and his thoughtfulness. We admire the hard work that Josué puts into giving his clients a good experience—thanks Josué! If you want a more detailed overview of what’s included: you’ll get to travel by kayak to the snorkeling area, observe the ocean life, kayak to the shore to eat pineapple, rinse off at the beach, kayak back, and enjoy lunch with your tour guide. Pura Vida!

Phenomenal experience - Wow was I stunned with this tour! My 3 friends and I had an amazing time with our tour guide Alex. Tour was exactly as described, our guide even threw in a free drink and a ride on another tours boat slide! Alex was funny and kind and made sure to get lots of pictures of us and ensured we enjoyed our tour. After our tour the lunch that was provided was phenomenal at a local restaurant. We loved our tour so much we hung out with our guide even after it was over! He took us up to Playa Manuel Antonio Quepos beach, bought us some beers and showed us the beach there. Would 100% book again, thanks so much Alex, and pura vida!

Enjoyable Experience - My best friend and I really enjoyed this beautiful kayaking tour. It’s rainy season so we didn’t see a ton of things while snorkeling but we did see a school of colorful fish and it was a lot of fun. The stop at the beach was relaxing and our guide cut up delicious fresh pinapple and had cookies and water. It was an overall great experience and would recommend.

Wonderful afternoon. - Alex was a great tour guide. He let us set the pace of the paddling and had lots of patience while we learned to kayak. He took us to a rocky outcrop that was teeming with colourful and varied fish--snorkeled for about 1/2 hour marveling at the.fish. We then stopped on the shore where he cut up a fresh pineapple served with cookies and cold water. After kayaking back to starting point he took us to dinner (make sure you bring dry clothes and a hair brush!) at a local restaurant.

King Al leading the tour - With an adventure needed for our day off, my colleague and I decided on some kayaking and snorkeling. Possibly not the best day for it, the morning was glorious but the weather soon changed as we got to the boats. Al the tour guide was awesome, whilst we were kayaking pointing out different and areas, and make the trip fun. He decided that I looked big enough ti kayak alone and he would go in a tandem with my buddy. This worked out well for me as I was hoping it would be single boats. Snorkeling visibility wasn't great because of the rainfall. However, i preferred the kayaking anyway! We parked up on an island where we ate water melon and re hydrated figuring out if the rain was too much to kayak back through, Easy, we were soon flying over the waves back to our start point. We had a couple from Seattle on tour with us too, they also seemed to enjoy it. After Al took us to a restaurant (Mira Olas) as part of the tour. A great way to finish a good afternoon!

A lovely kayaking experience - just a shame about the snorkel equipment. - A really enjoyable morning! Collection from our hotel was prompt, and our friendly guide Alex led us out kayaking across the beautiful bay, during which we saw lots of frigatebirds. He also took us to a beach and gave us cold water and cut pineapple, and later took us to a good local restaurant. The reef area had some lovely fish (triggerfish, angelfish etc.) but was very busy, with around 20 people snorkelling around the one small rock. Our main criticism was the quality of the equipment - the kayaks were fine, but my partner was given a broken mask, whilst my snorkel had a broken mouthpiece, so our enjoyment of the snorkelling experience was affected.

Missed the pickup, so I was left behind. - Was unclear about pickup details. Shuttle came to pick me up. No message when driver came. They called my room when I was near the reception area. A message to my phone would have let me know they were there, and I would not have missed them. Paid money, got nothing. Very disappointed.

The kayaking was nice but we... -
The kayaking was nice but we certainly did not need the guide. The guide did not add anything to the experience. The snorkeling was not good at all. There was nothing to see but a few little fish. Water visibility was not good compared to snorkeling or diving in the Carribean.
