Adventurous - Ruper and the 2 other guides were amazing. Always attentive to the currents and what was necessary to do.

Awesome experience!!!... - Awesome experience!!! Nicholas and Orlando were the best! They prepared us all well and kept us laughing the whole time.

Adrenaline fueled river rafting with Nicholas and Eric--DO IT! - Nicholas and Eric---THANK YOU for an exhilarating experience! We were originally booked on the Class 2-3 (Saverge) river trip but poor weather the day prior prevented that trip so Toucanes Tours offered to have us do the class 3-4 trip. I'll admit I was scared even through I've been rafting lots of times--but both Nicholas and Eric spent time explaining all of the safety procedures and we easily put our trust in them. Do NOT do this tour unless you are okay with getting completely soaked--that's part of the fun. River water is warm--rapids are very challenging. Since we went during rainy season, the water was very high (at it's most dangerous level). Even at the most dangerous and scary moments of this trip, I never doubted that Nicholas and Eric would manage with their experience--and they did! Highly recommend this trip--not for the faint-hearted. It should be on your bucket-list! Thank you Nicholas, Eric and Toucanes Tours for a wonderful experience.

Absolute recommendation! - Great fun, great care and a must do when in the area. Had planned to go with my 18-year old but came down with a cold and had to stay in bed last minute. Being off-season it turned out we would have been the only ones and without me they were one pair of hands short. They went out of their way to mobilise someone to help out so that my son could still have a great experience. Thank you!

Wonderful rafting at the Naranja river - My daughter has just completed her 6m trip across South America and I have joined her for the last two weeks touring Costa Rica. Despite the many attractions she had during her long journey this rafting was really a unique attraction for her and we’ve both rated it as one of the top three highlights of our common trip!

Great Rafting Expereince! - Had so much fun and the contact for the company was quick with communication. We ended up getting a message from the company that they needed to change our reservation last minute for a different river and they were able to get us square away quickly with no issues!

Would give 6 stars if I could - This was my first time doing white water rafting and I’ve been smiling and laughing the whole time. We spent about 1 hour and a half in the water and we did a lot of rapids, some harder than others. Being my first time I was a bit scared, but I felt very safe at all time! You just have to follow the guide’s instructions to a T and be ready to paddle hard. Great experience and so much fun! Can’t recommend it enough. The fact that it came with free drinks and buffet lunch included is a bonus too!

Best rafting trip ever! - I don't think it could have gone any better! Miguel was our guide on the river and he was excellent! He showed us more animals and plants than any other guide we had while in Costa Rica. He was safe on the river and always kept it enjoyable. This might have been the best excursion we did in Costa Rica. I would absolutely do it again.

Great rafting river. Lot's of rapids - It was fun, but was disappointed we had an overly cautious guide who kept putting us on the floor of the boat during the rapids. However, I was probably the most experienced of the four of us in our raft, and he may have had a point. So--if you are an experienced rafter, don't have Orlando as your guide. If you've never rafted before, or only a time or two, then he's your guy! He will get you through safely and you will still have fun.
