Great family experience! - The whole family had a great time! This is our second time kayaking with Greg and I’m sure there will be a third. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly.

Mangroves and Shells - We enjoyed our afternoon on the water in Shell Key Preserve The trip was well organized to include a variety of ecosystems None of the paddling was too strenuous and the break on Shell Key was lovely

Kayak with Yak - We had a great excursion to Shell Key which is beautiful. It was a workout for me given the winds picking up on return but would not change anything. He was very knowledgeable about the natural environment.

Discovery and fun - What an amazing kayak paddle experience. Capt. Yak is laidback, very knowledgeable about birds and sea life, and changing health status of the key. He spots creatures with a trained eye while standing on his kayak. Friendly and allows time for folks to stop, look and enjoy the birds, mangroves and sea creatures. He loves what he does and shares his breadth of knowledge.

Kayak expédition - A kayaking expédition longer than most of the others offered, which felt like exploring the mangroves and involved a lot of wildlife sightings and paddling. A very friendly and passionnate guide. Shell key was a lot of fun to walk around.

This is something to Yak about! - What a fun way to experience the beautiful nature of Florida! Captain Yak did a great job of guiding us through the mangroves, across the waterways, and onto Shell Key Island. He did a great job educating us on the ecosystem, different birds, fish, and the dolphins we were blessed to see. 10 out of 10… highly recommended! Thanks Greg!

Best Day Ever! - Such a great Kayak tour! Capt Yak is very laid back but knowledgeable in local wildlife and habitat which made the trip very fascinating.I am handicap but able to walk some and paddle alone, he was very patient and helpful. The water was so clear and the kayaks were comfortable as well, if you've ever used cheap kayaks you will appreciate his! Our excursion was to Shell Key, which has a sand bar and tons of shells, lliteral paradise, where we spent free time on the island. Afterwards we headed back across pretty calm waters back into the mangrove tunnels at the perfect time with light cascaded through the branches creating a picturesque environment. Capt Yak's knowledge and years of experience set his trips worlds apart from the rest!

Amazing Rental Experience - We rented the Kayaks with Capt Yak to get to shell beach. Prior to the arrival, his communication was amazing with what to bring and directions to get there. On the day of the rental, the kayaks were out on the water and ready to go. He gave us a map of where to go, what would be easy for my family, locations that would be good to see some animals, fishing and shell hunting. If we go back, we definitely will be renting again from Capt Tak

Knowledgeable Guide, Great Experience - We had a great experience with Greg on a guided kayak tour of the Shell Key preserve. He brought a wealth of knowledge to the tour and was very personable. We enjoyed mangrove tunnels and bird watching. We liked it so much that we rented kayaks from Greg two days later and had another amazing experience at Shell Key (shelling, fishing). We highly recommend Capt Yak!
