Excellent experience. - We took the bus tour of the southern part of the island. Kind and helpful drivers, respected stop times, where everyone can get off, do their excursion and then pick up the next bus. On the southern part, we recommend the stops in Valletta, Marsaxlokk and Blu grotto, where it is recommended to take a boat visit at the price of 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for children. Highly recommended.

A day not to forget! - It's worth a trip to the north and south. Super, excellent prices, a marvel. We got a ticket with a boat ride too. Stupendous

A bit confusing. - A bit confusing but enjoyable. Needs better and clearer narration. It easy to know what bus to get on. Spoke to so many others that were confused. Yellow line should be yellow, red for red line and blue for blue line.

Possible heat exhaustion if you go - The tour is basically a bus ride with occasional information on different areas, some of which are barely even tourist sights. The bus driver was not overtly rude, however he was unfriendly and seemed like he didn't like his job. The bus has no AC and the top is extremely hot, to the point where people were dumping bottles of water over their heads after getting off. I have been to 20+ countries and never had to worry about getting heat exhaustion on a bus until today

Disaster - Old, dirty, stinky bus. The driver needs to leave the bus door opened for the whole journey so people don't die inside because of the hotness and smell... The bus is so loud that you can not hear anything through earphones, if you are lucky to find the plug that works. Finally the bus broke down and we need to wait for 20 minutes out on the worst sun with the kids. The other bus that came was in the same condition. We hoped off to visit Esplora center in Kalkara but when we wanted to hop on again, all according to time table, the bus never showed up. So we paid taxi 20 euros to go back..... The worst experience ever!!

Not worth the money - The bus was hot and dirty, and we had to change seats 3 times to find an audio plug that worked. The driver was grumpy and extremely unhelpful.

Avoid Malta Sightseeing: Poor Service and Inconsistent Experience - We paid €90 for two adults. Our 2-year-old was admitted for free. Unfortunately, the tours were not worth the money. Although we were given another ticket due to an audio issue on the south tour (bus 8), we faced additional problems detailed below: • The audio guides on one bus did not work at all. Many audio units are broken or loose and need repair. Finding a functioning unit often comes down to luck. • When the audio does work, the descriptions are brief and mistimed, often referring to sights that are not yet visible. This leaves passengers searching for the relevant topic. The English descriptions are particularly poor and need improvement. • Stops are inconsistent. One day we stopped far from Marsaxlokk; the next day, we drove right down the street. The street was open to vehicles on Sunday, so the bus could have used it instead of dropping passengers far away with no direction provided. • The buses are never on time. They are always at least 10 minutes late. • Both the red (south tour) and blue (north tour) buses will pick you up from your hotel in the morning (we were picked up from the Doubletree Hilton in St. Paul's Bay). However, they do not drop you off in the evening unless you are in the St. Julian’s or Sliema area on the south route. If staying outside these areas, you must go to Sliema and catch a shuttle bus at either 4 pm or 6 pm. Getting information on the shuttle bus was extremely difficult. I can’t stress how much of a mess this was tonight. No staff member knew which of the four idle buses would be used for hotel transfers, and they seemed indifferent to the roughly 20 customers unsure how to get back to their hotels. The shuttle bus, scheduled for 6 pm, arrived at 6:14 pm and was too small to accommodate all customers. About 10 customers were left behind, arguing for refunds, though I don't know if they received any. A staff member recommended they use local public transport instead. The shuttle bus did not depart until 6:23 pm, and we did not arrive at our hotel until 7:06 pm, over 2 hours after getting off South bus 9 at the Sliema Terminus. We left Valletta at 2:20 pm and arrived at our hotel nearly 5 hours later, an unacceptable waste of time on a hot, uncomfortable, and old bus. I hope this helps someone decide to pass on Malta Sightseeing. The company has shown a blatant disregard for customer service and satisfaction. Staff, apart from those selling trips, are generally disinterested and left to manage the fallout of cost-cutting decisions made above their pay grade. The company's culture is non-existent, a failure trickling down from the top. Save your money and use another tour bus company, public transport, Bolt, or Uber.

Avoid. - Usually a hop on and off bus tour is a useful introduction to where you are and we have generally found them helpful. This however is the exception. The audio was almost non existent. Multiple complaints to the driver who assured us it was working the day before. You had to hold the ear plug pin with a certain amount of pressure at a certain angle to stand a chance of hearing something. The whole top deck complained. Not that there was much to narrate on. Much of the tour is through barren land or built up areas. My advice is decide in advance where you want to go and get a BOLT taxi. Avoid this at all costs.

not recommendable - I can't recommend it. Some headphone jacks didn't work (the bus driver knew about it) Little information The little information often didn't match the section of the route A drink stop in the middle of nowhere to the bus driver's advantage (3 minutes before the next big stop!) Interval of 1h. Competitors at 0.5h

Cannot recommend - This is undoubtedly one of the worst hop on hop off tours we have been on & we have been on many. We usually consider it a good way to get oriented in a new place. This was just a very old bus. There was VERY little information but LOTS of annoying music played through the headphones.
