Hop on and of - This is by my opinion the best way to explore all you want. You can just hop on and hop of whenever you want and not stress about where to go next. Take a day and just go. You will not regret going. They drive in circles and go trough the most important places. Sit on the open roof to have the full experience.

The best way to see Malta. - The best way to get around the island of Malta. We bought a 7 day ticket which gave us unlimited travel, admission into 20 main attractions and a harbour cruise. We could also travel to Gozo if we wanted.99Euros per person.Well worth the money and a good way to see the island and the commentary was very informative. The bus drivers are so friendly and helpful. If you are planning on doing a lot of sightseeing this will save you money. Why!because some of the attractions are overrated in my opinion and you would be upset if you had paid per visit per attraction. You can buy 24 48 and 72 hour passes.Local buses are just as good to use but often very busy.

As you’d expect any HoHo buses to be! - As all Ho/Ho buses, they’re a good way to get an overview of a country or city. It was quite a nice, leisurely trip.

Nothing special... - The buses are old, in some seats, there was no possibility of hearing audioguide as the technology was broken... The price is too high for the value given... Also, buses should be running more frequently. Missing the bus and waiting for one hour was a very bad experience.....Also when buses run so rarely it makes the buses more crowded and you can't get a seat on the second floor of the bus, which is the reason why we both the tickets... Sitting downstairs without an audioguide makes it a standard public bus which costs only 2 euros, so what is the point of going with City Sightseeing then???... At least the harbour cruise was nice.

Bus Tour is confusing and messy. Harbour Tour is great - Where do you start. Bus Tour is unlike other Red Bus Tours. There are two routes, many stops but only one direction. This is important because it making planning beyond crucial. Not what a holiday needs. The time table is confusing, the buses often late. They are meant to be hourly but if they are late then you may only have 45 minutes to visit the location as the next "checkpoint" is crucial to complete your circuit. The Harbour Tour is on a modern catamaran and is excellent. You will breeze past the other local boats as you explore the harbour. A mixed bag. The bus tour needs improvement.

Rude sales representative - The tours were good. The problem was that the sales rep at St Julian’s Beach Club stop was extremely rude to us. My grandmother had a question about one of the routes and he told her he wasn’t going to answer because our tickets didn’t give him any commission. He was an English gentleman who clearly thought he could get away with bullying old ladies. He should be fired!

Worst hop on hop off tour ever - Worst hop on hop off tour ever. Overcrowded buses with one hour between buses. People had to stand downstairs at certain points. Several hours spent going through suburbs with no places of interest. Audio guide points not working. A complete waste of money and public transport or taxi a much better option to experience beautiful Malta and Mdina.

Avoid at all costs! - Avoid at all costs!!! I wanted to share my extreme disappointment and outrage of the City Sightseeing experience in Malta on October 13th. Myself, my family and many others arrived in Valletta cruise terminal to be greeted by your company as well as others. We were sold our tickets by a lady called Doreen or Dorian who told us that the ticket would allow access to 3 different colours lines -red, blue, yellow- and advised us to take the blue line first and then red which took us to valetta city centre as in her words “there is a siesta in the middle of the day and not much to see in the main city as lots of shops have closed recently”. We spent €75 on 3 tickets which were a complete waste of money. We took the blue route to be greeted by a journey through residential side streets, the recording on the bus was completely out of sync with what we were passing through and all in all we did not see much of note. We didn’t even get off the bus and wanted to make our way to the stop which intersects with the red line only to be greeted by an announcement that the tour was ending and that the buses had finished for the day at 2:30pm. There were loads of angry people on the bus and who waited at one of the stops before to make their way back. Some of these people told us that their driver on another bus had a physical altercation with passengers who were complaining. I’ve been on City Sighteeing tours all over the world and they have always been good but the experience in Malta and the huge number of Norwegian viva cruise passengers who were complaining shows that the Malta franchise needs to be avoided at all costs. Absolutely terrible experience.

Avoid - One star is generous! Runs to its own timetable not the one published! Stops running at 2.30pm depending on where you are on the island. Use local buses, cheaper and more reliable!
